 BARDO TAKDOL (BLANKET)
Consecration and Blessing Ceremony by
Venerable Lama Thutop
on the 30th July - 01st August, 2000.
The TDSPJ team arranging the Blankets before the Blessing ceremony starts. A total of 3000 pieces of Blanket is printed during this event.
Lama Thutop with 4 monks performing the consecration and blessing ceremony. Full Tibetan Style Ritual were perform during these 3 days in order to properly bless the Blankets.
Seen below is H.E. Tai Situ Rinpoche, H.E. Gyaltsab Rinpoche and Ven. Thrangu Rinpoche blessing the Bardo Takdol before the 3rd Kagyu Cofenrence in Dharamsala India.
The UKKF group who went to Dharamsala and had the opportunity to show the Blanket to the 17th Karmapa , H.E. Tai Situ Rinpoche , H.E. Gyaltsab Rinpoche.  The UKKF plans to contribute a large qualtity of the Bardo Blanket to Rinpoche. When asked by a sponsor as to  how many Blanket Rinpoche wanted , Gyaltsab Rinpoche mentioned as many as possible. This is to inform you that Chenrezig Centre and Thrangu Dharma Society are now planning to sponsor a substantial quantity of the Takdol for H. E. Gyaltsab Rinpoche and his project. Gyaltsab  Rinpoche remarks sums it all  when ask to comment about the Bardo Blanket, Rinpoche said that everyone should have a Bardo Blanket in his lifetime.
