The most talked about group of people. Remember the '50's, black leather, chains and motorcycles and the '60's, flower child, and love children.
Well I've put together a little poem in fun for parents to understand these talked about people so they can have a better understanding.

TURMOIL & TOLORENCE
Have you ever noticed how a teenages life is always in constant turmoil? They seem to get at least 5 years into 1? Nothing is ever right. Their hair, their clothes, curfew, their love life and their parents.
It's tough being a teenager, moreso being a teenagers parent. Do you realize the tolorence a parent goes through while the teenagers life is in constant turmoil? Then a teenagers life is not in turmoil it is.........

EXCELLENT
Everything is excellent. The person they're going with is excellent. You may think what you please just don't say it.
You may ask how they did on a certain exam and they'll say excellent. When you get the mark it's a "D" you ask about it and they tell you "FOR THEM A 'D' IS EXCELLENT"-------"D" IS DEFINATLY EXCELLENT COMPARED TO AN "F". Brain Freeze, how can you argue with that kind of logic?

EVERLASTING
This must be why teenagers drive so fast or why they get so upset when a pimple shows up. Try to explain "PUPPY LOVE" No such thing. Don't you know that first love is true love everlasting?

NEGATIVE
Do you realize how negative parents are? No matter what teenagers want to do it is unually NO.
For instance, stay out till midnight on a school night, quit school, shoot the rapids or borrow the car. Parents can be so unreasonable.

AWESOME and GROSS
Two words that teenagers use a lot.
Awesome means something great.
Gross means something awful.
One father said to his teenager, "There are two words I would like to to stop using, They are awesome and gross." The teenager replied, "OK, Dad, what are they?"

ENDURANCE
This is what a teenagers parents go through, Endurance.
We endure the ups and downs, their excitement and let downs, their loves and loses. The telephone, happiness and sadness, their hate and the love for you.
It is just a test of survival.

REBELS
All teenagers are rebels, just ask them. You possible can't remember that far back, what it was like. After all that was back in the dark ages. I mean really, why do you think parents are the way they are. We remember all too well.

SPECIAL
All teenagers are special. What I mean is what other group of people can make another group of people grow lines in their face, cause so many headaches or lighten their hair to a silver colour. They say grey hair is heireditory, it's true, I got everyone from my kids.
Put it all together and it spells teenagers. Thank goodness they're only teenagers once.
