(The camera sweeps across the Astrodome, showing it filled to capacity. Fireworks are going off in the building and several signs are seen on camera, such as: Rage in the Cage!, Carlos Baegra for President, and Start the show! My Grizzly Beer is getting warm!)
Jon McDaniel: Tonight is a night unlike any other in the history of the PWA. It was just after Battle Dome that Raizzor announced he would wrestle his last match here tonight in Houston and since then, things have been crazy. Add to that excitement World champion Panzadise fighting Rage in a Hell in the Cell match and the conclusion of the Who's the Man tournament and you just know sparks will be flying!
Brian Rentfro: Don't forget that the Creatures of the Night are falling apart. Robinson planted the seeds for that when he made sure the tournament brackets would force them to face each other, and he did the job well. In our first match tonight, Brymstone will take on the Spider, both from the Creatures. Also, Porter will be facing Project X a bit later. The winners of those two matches will go on to meet at the end of the night to determine who the man really is.
Jon McDaniel: Also, Metalhead and newcomer Danny Sparks will meet in a Boot Camp match, officiated by Sgt. Slade, two battle royals, and both the tag titles and the Women's title will be defended. All in all, a pretty full evening. Let's get right down to it as the first match begins.
Ring Announcer: Introducing first, the PWA Intercontinental champion...Brymstone!
(Sinister music plays on the PA system and the entire arena goes dark. A dark threatening voice is heard saying "Who dares stand before the might of Hell falls beneath it's sword...beware the coming of the Destroyer." Across the ADC-Tron flashes some of Brymstone's earlier matches along with visions of his dogs Cerberus and Lucifer. A dark blue light shines on the stage and Nina Daemon clad n a dark black robe with a silver ankh on the hood walks out and throws her silver ankh onto the stage. Flames burst out as Brymstone rises to the stage. Brymstone stoops to pick up the ankh and hands it back to Nina. Once he starts down the ramp a eerie howling is heard and pyros go off forming the Celtic dragon. Brymstone wears a black bodysuit with forest green flames running up it to the middle of his chest. A face mask likewise decorated covers his face. He holds the rope for Nina and then climbs over the top rope. Nina throws her ankh into the air and it explodes into a green flash of light and Nina climbs out.)
Ring Announcer: And his opponent, hailing from Parts Unknown, Dalton Campbell, the Spider!
(The Final Countdown by "Europe" begins to play just as the arena lights go out and the ADC-tron lights up with a picture of a giant spider. The picture of the spider fades out and white pyros flare of the ring. The Spider the comes down from the rafters on a harness and enters the ring.)
Jon McDaniel: The tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Campbell extends his hand to Brymstone.
Brian Rentfro: I'm not sure if that is the smartest move he could be making.
(Brymstone grabs Campbell's hand and whips him into the ropes, then takes him down with a powerslam. Spider rolls out of the ring and tries to get his bearings, but Brymstone follows him out with a suicide dive. Both men are slow to get to their feet. Brymstone is up first and he rolls Spider back into the ring. Brymstone heads up to the top rope and tries a splash, but Campbell brings his knees up.)
Jon McDaniel: Smart move by the Spider.
(Spider takes advantage of the prone Brymstone and locks on a Fujiwar armbar. Brymstone manages to get his feet to the ropes. Spider pulls Brymstone to his feet and locks on a standing armbar.)
Brian Rentfro: This is pure brilliance by Dalton Campbell. He's really working on that arm, taking the strength factor away from Brymstone. There won't be any Pits of Hell if he can't lift you.
(Brymstone pushes Spider into the ropes and breaks the armbar. He clotheslines Campbell and then holds his arm afterwards. Brymstone goes to pull Spider to his feet, but Campbell prevents it with a low blow. Campbell backs into the ropes and Nina holds his foot, tripping him. He turns to her to argue and Brymstone comes from behind with a belly to back suplex. Brymstone pulls Campbell up and DDTs him. Brymstone covers...one...two...kickout!)
Jon McDaniel: That was close.
Brian Rentfro: This is were the difference in strategy is coming into play. Brymstone goes out there and just pulverizes his opponents, so his key is power. But the Spider is crafty. He hasn't been doing a lot of high damage moves, instead he's focusing on wearing the big man down.
Jon McDaniel: Athletic Perfection is walking toward the ring!
(Brymstone with a scoop slam on the Spider, followed up with a senton splash. He hooks the leg...one...two...kickout. Campbell gets whipped into the ropes, but ducks a big boot and nails Brymstone with a forearm smash. Campbell climbs up top and waits for Brymstone to stand up. Athletic Perfection jumps onto the ring apron and pushes Campbell off the top. Brymstone catches him in a powerslam. One...two...three.)
Jon McDaniel: Brymstone will advance!
Brian Rentfro: The Spider just lost thanks to Athletic Perfection! He went for a high risk move, but it backfired big time!
Jon McDaniel: That's a good point, and one that I'm not too sure will be a factor in our next match-up. Neither Ron Porter or Project X are known for their high flying!
Ring Announcer: This is a semi-final Who's the Man tournament match. Introducing first, Ron "The Fear" Porter!
(Voodoo Chile blasts out across the arena as Porter enters the ring.)
Ring Announcer: And his opponent, from Area 51, Project X!
(The lights go out and everybody is left in the dark .The phantom of the opera starts playing and then suddenly a blinding white light covers the ramp and Project-X appears wearing all black and a black mask with a phantom of the opera mask over it. As he walks down the aisle the light turns white to green and then back again.)
Jon McDaniel: This is going to be an exciting battle of the big men!
(They lock up and both men fight for the advantage, with PX finally coming out on top with a front face lock. Project X leaps forward with a bulldog. PX bends down to pull up Porter, but Porter gives him an eye gouge. Ron Porter takes control with a knee lift to the face. Porter locks on a camel clutch in the middle of the ring.)
Brian Rentfro: That's excellent strategy right there. Don't wear yourself out early in the night. Lock on a nice submission move and just sit on it for a while. You're tear up your opponent and still keep yourself pretty fresh.
Jon McDaniel: Absolutely. Porter knows that Brymstone just took a beating and he's wrestling with that knowledge in mind.
(Project X finally makes it to the ropes after a long struggle. Porter breaks the hold, but stomps PX on the back. PX uses the ropes to pull himself to his knees. Porter tries to take over and pull him up, but PX stops him with a shoulder block to the midsection. Project X grabs Porter's head and throws him out of the ring. PX rests on the mat for a second, then rolls out after Porter. PX grabs Porter in a waistlock, then gives him a belly-to-belly suplex onto the guard rail. Porter is on his knees now, and he locks his arms around Project X's waist, almost like he's begging for mercy. PX punches Porter, but Porter manages to get to his feet and lift up PX, hitting a spinebuster on the concrete.)
Jon McDaniel: These men are really punishing each other, but you don't advance in the tournament outside the ring! If they don't get back in there, Brymstone is going to win by default!
(Porter rolls PX into the ring, then hits over to grab the ring bell and slide in the ring with it. Porter drops the bell onto the mat behind PX. Project X is getting to his feet now, and Ron Porter gets behind him and gets him ready for the Death Wish! Porter executes the move, but Project X grabs the ring ropes and avoids going down! PX whips Porter into the ropes, but Porter reverses it, then PX reverses it. Project X catches Ron Porter in a chokehold coming off the ropes, lifts him high in the air, then lands the Probe on the ring bell!)
Brian Rentfro: That's got to hurt!
(Project X makes the cover. One...two...three!)
Jon McDaniel: Project X and Brymstone will face off in the finals of the Who's the Man tournament! I can't wait!
Brian Rentfro: Calm down, Jonny Mac, you've still got two and a half hours to go! Sit back, have some decaf, and get ready for the battle royals.
McDaniel: This should be good! All the competitors for the first battle royal are in the ring so lets get you down to ringside.
Ring Announcer: The following is the first off to battle royals that will
determine who will fight for the Internet title on Chaos. The competitors in this battle royal are, Creed, Jay, Big Daddy, Scorpion, Gareth Evans and Nightstryker.
(The bell then rings and all men clash in the centre of the ring. Nightstryker pairs up with Scorpion, Big Daddy with Gareth Evans and Jay with Creed. Nightstryker pounds away on Scorpion with lefts and rights in the corner and
immediately eliminates him from the battle royal with a toss over the top rope and out to the floor.)
Jon McDaniel: Scorpion is the first man eliminated and he went fast!
(Nightstryker then goes over and helps Evans double team Big Daddy in the corner. Nightstryker and Evans then struggle to get Big Daddy over the top rope as Jay and Creed slug it out in the opposite corner. Creed whips Jay to the ropes and back drops him over the top rope but Jay lands on the apron. Creed raises his hands thinking he has eliminated Jay but Jay then climbs to the top rope and when Creed turns around, Jay nails him with a missile drop kick to the jaw. Jay then goes to toss Creed out but Creed manages to grip onto the ropes and pull himself back in without Jay knowing.)
Jon McDaniel: Creed is hanging in there!
Brian Rentfro: This battle Royal is intense!
(Jay goes over to the other corner and it turns into a triple team on Big Daddy who is now hooking onto the ropes like an Octopus. The three of them together are able to force Big Daddy over the top rope and to the outside.)
Jon McDaniel: Big Daddy has finally been eliminated!
Brian Rentfro: We are down to the final four, Nightstryker, Evans, Jay and Creed.
(Jay and Evans then turn around to receive a double clothesline from Creed who then picks up Evans and tosses him over the top rope.)
Jon McDaniel: Evans has been eliminated by Creed!
(Nightstryker then attacks Creed from behind and tosses him over the top rope but Creed hooks onto the ropes and
tries to pull himself back in again but Nightstryker spots him a dropkicks him off the apron and out to the floor.)
Brian Rentfro: Creed has been eliminated!
Jon McDaniel: We are now down to the final two, Jay and Nightstryker.
(Jay and Nightstryker slug it out in the middle of the ring. Nightstryker throws a right at Jay but Jay ducks and tosses Nightstryker to the ropes. Nightstryker then gets tied up in the ropes and is at Jays mercy. Jay then pounds away at Nightstryker with lefts and rights until one final right he gives Nightstryker untangles him and sends him over the top rope and out to the floor.)
Jon McDaniel: Jay has won!
Ring Announcer: The winner of this match and #1 contender for the Internet title, Jay!
Jon McDaniel: And here are the second series of wrestlers for the second battle royal.
Ring Announcer: Competing in this Battle Royal are Grendle, Trace Gray, Mako, Jers Koger, Karkus and Monkey McDee
(The action starts fast with Grendle pairing up with Mako, Gray with McDee and Kroger with Karkus. Kroger and Karkus brawl in the corner. Karkus then whips Kroger to the ropes but Kroger nails Karkus with a cross body and the two of them tumble over the top rope and to the outside.)
Jon McDaniel: Kroger and Karkus have both been eliminated straight away!
Brian Rentfro: We are already down to the final four
(Grendle pounds away on Mako in the corner as McDee dominates on Gray. Grendle then swings a right at Mako but Mako ducks and back drops Grendle over the top rope and to the outside. Grendle then angry about his elimination runs back in and dropkicks
Mako over the top rope.)
Jon McDaniel: Grendle just came back in and eliminated Mako!
(Grendle then runs over to McDee and Gray and nails them with a double spear over the top rope. Grendle and McDee hit the floor but Gray manages to keep a hold of the ropes and win the match.)
Jon McDaniel: Trace Gray has won the second battle royal!
Ring Announcer: The winner of the second battle royal, Trace Gray!!! Therefore the match on Chaos will be, Jay Vs Trace Gray!!
Brian Rentfro: Those battle royals were intense and I cannot wait to see what happens when Trace Gray and Jay step into the ring.
Jon McDaniel: This next match should be good and should push both men to their limits. It is a Boot Camp match between Metalhead and Danny Sparks with Sgt. Slade as the special guest ref.
Brian Rentfro: Metalhead has been wanting to get back at Danny Sparks since he cost him his match against Ron Porter in the Who's the Man tournament.
Jon McDaniel: Well Sgt. Slade is already in the ring o lets get you down to ringside
Ring Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. It is a boot camp match and the rules are simple. When a man can not answer the ten count his opponent will be declared the winner. Introducing first, Danny Sparks
("Stripped, Raped, and Strangled" by Cannibal Corpse blasts over the PA as Danny Sparks heads to the ring)
Ring Announcer: And his opponent, Metalhead!
("Gods of Rapture" by Meshuggah comes on the PA. The song opens
with 4 seconds of solid riffing the metal guitar. Then
there's a sudden stop. Smoke starts to flow out of the entrance way as the bass
plays through another 6 seconds of intro. The lights die as the music stops
again. After about half a second the music picks up again with bass and metal
guitars playing, and the red pyros flair, with Metalhead in front of them,
holding up his arms up in the air. The pyros die and Metalhead walks to the ring
as the lights come back on. He slides into the ring and goes to 2 opposite
turnbuckles and riles the crowd.)
(The bell rings and both men lock up in the middle of the ring. Metalhead over powers Sparks and takes him down into a head lock. Sparks then powers out of the head lock and shoves Metalhead to the ropes. Sparks then bends over to give Metalhead a back body drop but Metalhead blocks it and goes for a pile driver but Danny Sparks blocks that and back body drops Metalhead down to the mat. Slade starts a count but Metalhead pops back up at two.)
Jon McDaniel: This match has started fast and furious!
(Metalhead and Danny Sparks then go toe to toe and stare each other down in the centre of the ring. Sparks then shoves Metalhead and he shoves him back but before Sparks can retaliate Metalhead spears him down to the mat and Sparks rolls to the outside to regroup but Metalhead climbs to the top rope and dives to the outside catching Sparks with a cross body.)
Jon McDaniel: Metalhead is suicidal!
(Slade then slides outside the ring and starts a ten count but Sparks gets back up at 5. Metalhead then rams Sparks head into the guard rail and then whips him into the steel steps. Metalhead then rams Sparks into the timekeepers table.)
Jon McDaniel: They are right out in front of us here!
Brian Rentfro: Just hope they don't get on top of us!
(Metalhead then goes to grab Sparks but Sparks grabs the ring bell and nails Metalhead in the head with it. Sparks then whips Metalhead into the ring post full force. Slade then starts a 10 count but Metalhead gets up at 6. Sparks then bashes Metal head's head into the announce table and rolls him on top of it.)
Brian Rentfro: I knew they would end up here!
(Sparks then goes to give Metalhead a pile driver through the announce table but Metalhead blocks and back body drops Sparks off of the table and onto the concrete.)
Brian Rentfro: That's better
(Slade then starts a count on Sparks but he is back up at 5. Metalhead then grabs a steel chair and smashes it over the head of Sparks and drags him on top of the Spanish announce table.)
Brian Rentfro: Yeah, you can use that table but stay away from here!
(Metalhead then lifts Sparks up and gives him a sitting powerbomb through the table.)
Jon McDaniel: Danny Sparks is broken in half!
(Slade then starts a count on Sparks 1,2,3,4,5-Sparks starts to stir-6,7-He rolls onto his shoulder.-8-He tries to get up but falls back down- 9, 9 3/4- He uses the announce table beside him to help himself back to his feet.)
Jon McDaniel: Sparks just beat the 10 count!
(Metalhead then gets frustrated and grabs a steel chair and nails sparks across the head with it. Metalhead then looks underneath the ring and pulls out a table with a bunch of weapons on it. Metalhead then grabs a trash can and levels a dazed Danny Sparks with it but Sparks stays standing. Metalhead then goes to nail him with it again but Sparks blocks and takes the trash can off of Metalhead and nails Metalhead with it. Metalhead then bends over holding his head as Sparks grabs a Singapore cane off of the table and breaks it over the back of Metalhead.)
Brian Rentfro: That is going to leave a whelp!
(Metalhead falls to his knees and Sparks picks him back up and rolls him into the ring. Sparks then grabs the table and slides it into the ring. Sparks then looks further under the ring and grabs a bag of something, a tank of gasoline and a ball of barbed wire. Sparks takes all of this and tosses it into the ring and follows.)
Brian Rentfro: Who puts that stuff under the ring?
(Sparks then stomps Meathead a couple of times before grabbing the bag and tipping it all out onto the canvas to reveal thousands of shiny thumbtacks.)
Jon McDaniel: Thumbtacks! Thumbtacks!
(Sparks then grabs the table and sets it up over the thumbtacks. He then grabs the barbed wire and wraps it around the table.)
Jon McDaniel: This is starting to look dangerous Brian!
(Sparks then grabs the tanks of gasoline as Metalhead starts to stir and bashes it into the side of Metalhead's head. Sparks then takes the tank and pours most of it onto the barbed wire table and pours what is left on Metalhead's backs.)
Jon McDaniel: I am not liking the looks of this Brian!
(Sparks then takes a match out of his tights and sets the barbed wire table on fire with a huge pop from the crowd. Sparks then picks Metalhead up but Metalhead starts to fight back with punches and kicks but Sparks ends Metalhead's comeback with a boot to the mid section followed by a ddt. Sparks then drags Metalhead over to the corner and sits him up on the top rope and climbs up with him. Sparks then gives Metalhead a hurracurrana through the flaming barbed wire table and onto the thumbtacks.)
Jon McDaniel: My God!!!! Metalhead has to be dead!!! Somebody stop this match!!!
(Metalhead then rolls away from the table with his back on fire and severe cuts on his arms and legs and thumbtacks sticking out from all over his body. Medics then rush to the ring with a fire extinguisher and put both the table and Metalhead out. The medics are about to order for the match to be stopped as Metalhead is screaming in agony but Danny Sparks then nails all the medics with right hands and grabs then fire extinguisher and bashes it over the head of Metalhead.)
Jon McDaniel: Come on, Danny Sparks should not be doing this. He has the match won and Metalhead is in need of some serious medical attention!!! Stop the match! Metalhead must have 3rd degree burns and everything
Brian Rentfro: For once I have to agree with you Jon!
(Slade then starts a count but at 9 Sparks picks Metalhead up and says he wants to do more punishment. Sparks then puts Metalhead into the corner chest first and delivers knife edge chops to the back of Metalhead as he screams in agony and the crowd screams "Whooooo!")
Jon McDaniel: I can not believe they are letting this match continue!!!
(Sparks then turns Metalhead around and sits him up on the top rope and goes outside and grabs a steel chair. Sparks then rolls back into the ring and places the chair on the mat in front of the corner and climbs up with Metalhead. Sparks then goes for another hurracurrana on Metalhead but Metalhead blocks and holds onto Sparks to give him a second rope powerbomb onto the steel chair. Both men then fall to the mat.)
Jon McDaniel: I can not believe Metalhead is fighting back!!!! Where is his strength coming from!?!?!?
(Slade then starts a count but both men struggle to their feet at the 9 count. Sparks then charges towards Metalhead but Metalhead catches him with a right hand jab and sends him down to the mat. Metalhead then seeing an opportunity, painfully rolls to the outside of the ring and reaches underneath the ring to take out a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat to a huge pop from the crowd. Metalhead then painfully lifts himself back into the ring as Sparks beats a 9 count and makes it back to his feet. Sparks then once again charges towards Metalhead only this time to get a face full of barbed wire. Sparks then falls down to the mat as a trickle of blood runs down his head. Sparks then gets up angrily at a 2 count but once again gets a face full of barbed wire. Sparks falls to the mat as another trickle of blood runs down his face. Before Slade can then start a count, Metalhead breaks it up by placing the barbed wire bat on Sparks face and ripping at his skin as Sparks screams in pain. Slade the pulls the bat away from Metalhead and tells him not to use it as the match continues and Sparks is busted wide open.)
Jon McDaniel: Sparks is covered in a crimson mask!!
(Slade then starts a count on Sparks but he gets back up at 9 but Metalhead takes him right back down with a swinging neck breaker.)
Jon McDaniel: Will this match ever end!?!?!?
Brian Rentfro: If it does it will be in the emergency room!
(Metalhead then gets frustrated and once again painfully rolls to the outside of the ring. Metalhead then looks underneath the ring and pulls out a barbed wire board and painfully pulls himself back into the ring.)
Jon McDaniel: My God, Metalhead has got a barbed wire board!!!!
Brian Rentfro: But what is that underneath the board Jon?!?!?!
Jon McDaniel: My God!!!!!! It is a C4 explosive barbed wire board!!!!!!!! Now this is going too far, someone stop the match!!!!!
(Metalhead then places the board in front of the corner and picks Sparks up. Slade tells him not to do it but Metalhead ignores him as he wants to get revenge for that stunt Sparks pulled earlier on in the match. Metalhead then sits sparks up on the top rope and climbs up with him. Slade then gets the attention of Metalhead and once again tells him not to do it. While Metalhead is distracted, Sparks is able to recover and spear Metalhead off of the top rope and onto the C4 explosive barbed wire board as the explosion goes off and can be heard all around the arena as the crowd starts chanting "Holy Shit!")
Jon McDaniel: My Go that has to be it!!!!!!! Stop the damn match!!!!
Brian Rentfro: Both men are knocked out from the explosion and I think Sparks took some of the explosion tot he head while Metalhead took it to his already severely burnt back!!!! No man will ever be able to recover from this bout!!
(Slade then starts a count with both men still knocked out 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. Slade then calls for the bell as Medics rush to the ring to tend to both men.)
Ring Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen this match has been declared a draw! As neither man was able to answer the ten count!
Jon McDaniel: Thank God, the match is finally over, I could not take much more of that!!!
Brian Rentfro: This match will go down as one of the greatest hardcore battles in the history of the PWA that is unless the World title match tops it later on tonight!
(Both men are carefully loaded onto two separate stretchers and are taken to the back.)
Jon McDaniel: Both men are being taken to receive some serious medical help and we will keep you posted on this but for now unfortunately, the show must go on! onto our next match!
Jon McDaniel: After all the great action we've already seen, I don't know how much more I can take!
Brian Rentfro: The Panzies have been waiting for this title shot for a while now. And I don't even think Grifter has a partner yet!
Ring Announcer: Introducing first, the challengers...from Tecmoville...Too Panz and Big Poppa Panzy!
(The NAP theme comes on as the Panzies make their way to the ring.)
Ring Announcer: And their opponents...one half of the PWA Tag Team Champions....Grifter and....Al!
(Grifter, Sirus and Al come out as "More Human than Human" comes on the PA. Al is wearing his NAP shirt.)
Brian Rentfro: (laughing) Grifter better watch it! His partner is not looking too loyal!
(Grifter and Too Panz lock up. Too Panz puts Grifter into the ropes and but Grifter holds on to them and misses a dropkick. Grifter lands his own dropkick as TP stands up. Grifter grabs a waistlock, then a belly to belly suplex on the Panzy. Too Panz rolls to his corner and tags in Big Poppa Panzy. A shoulder block by Grifter has no effect on the Panzy and Grifter hits the mat hard. BPP drops an elbow on the fallen Grifter. The champ gets up, only the get DDTed. BPP whips Grifter into the ropes and Grifter hits a forearm smash on the rebound.)
Brian Rentfro: Right about now, Grifter is wishing he had a real partner and not some stuffed bear!
(Sirus is pounding the mat, trying to get Grifter to tag in Al, but Grifter just gives Al an untrusting look. Grifter locks the Panzy in a sleeperhold. Big Poppa Panzy starts to fight back out of the sleeper, but Grifter lifts him by the head and executes an atomic drop. At ringside, Sirus takes the NAP shirt off Al to reveal a Brothers Grimm shirt! Grifter climbs up top and Sirus throws Al at BPP. Al hits BPP backwards and the Panzy falls down.)
Brian Rentfro: That was Al's dreaded inverted DDT!
Jon McDaniel: You're nuts, Brian. BPP was just groggy from the sleeperhold and he fell over!
(Big Poppa Panzy slowly gets to his feet and Grifter comes off the top with the Buzz Bomb! One...two...three!)
Jon McDaniel: Grifter won what was basically a handicap match to retain the Tag Team titles!
(In the ring, Sirus, Grifter, and Al are celebrating the win. Sirus lifts Al's arm, then looks at the bear funny. He takes off Al's Brothers Grimm shirt to reveal a second NAP shirt! The three of them walk up the entrance ramp, with Sirus lecturing Al.)
Jon McDaniel: The following is a Women's title match, so lets get you down to ringside.
Ring Announcer: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is a Women's title cage match!! Introducing first, Samantha Moran!!!
(Samantha Moran walks to the ring)
Ring Announcer: And her opponent, Nina Daemon Macabre!!!!
(Nina walks to the ring)
Brian Rentfro: This is going to be sweet!!!
(The bell rings and both women lock up in the middle of the ring. Nina then grabs Samantha by the air and throws her down to the mat by the hair. Nina then locks Samantha in a chinlock.)
Jon McDaniel: Nina is taking control early!
(Nina then breaks the chinlock and gives Samantha a boot in the back. Samantha then holds her back in pain as Nina asks for the ref to open the cage door. The ref does so but before Nina can get out Samantha jumps over and grabs her by the leg. Nina tries to shake Samantha off but Samantha then trips Nina and her face smashes into the ring apron.)
Brian Rentfro: Nina's beautiful face!!!!
(Samantha then drags Nina back into the ring and snap mares her down to the mat a couple of times. Samantha then picks Nina up and throws her against the side of the cage, she then takes her by the hair and throws across the ring and down to the mat. Samantha then starts climbing the cage as Nina starts to recover. Samantha gets half way up when Nina starts to follow her.)
Jon McDaniel: Nina is right behind Samantha!
(Samantha gets top he top of the cage but Nina is right behind her. Samantha then tries to give Nina an elbow to the face but Nina ducks and hooks her arms around the waist of Samantha. Nina then gives Samantha a German suplex all the way off of the top of the cage.)
Jon McDaniel: Nina just hit a German suplex off of the top of the cage!!!!
Brian Rentfro: That just goes to show how cultured Nina is!
Jon McDaniel: How's that?
Brian Rentfro: Well she chose a German move!
(Nina then is the first to recover and she picks Samantha up and gives her a Russian leg sweep.)
Brian Rentfro: Nina is now showing us how much she knows about Russian culture!
(Nina then looking to give Samantha more punishment gives Samantha a Chinese burn on her arm.)
Brian Rentfro: Chi.....
Jon McDaniel: We get the picture already!
(Nina then starts to climb the cage as Samantha stirs on the mat. Nina is nearly at the top of the cage when Samantha starts to follow her. Nina then starts to climb down the cage when suddenly Samantha’s hand shoots through the bars and grabs Nina by the hair. Nina fights to get down to the mat with no success. She then tries to jump then but is then left dangling by her hair.)
Brian Rentfro: Oh no! That is going to give Nina split ends!
(Samantha then drags Nina back up bar by bar until they are both at the top. The two exchange lefts and rights at the top of the cage. Samantha then pokes Nina in the eyes and while Nina is struggling to get her sight back, Samantha gives her a hurracurrana off the top of the steel cage.)
Jon McDaniel: Nina must be broken in half!
Brian Rentfro: I better go give her mouth to mouth!
(Samantha then gets back up and starts to climb the cage again but amazingly, Nina not wanting to quit gets right back up and follows her up to the top of the cage. The two then once again slug it out at the top of the cage. Samantha then head butts Nina and Nina is dazed from the blow. While Nina is dazed Samantha attempts to climb down but Nina recovers too quickly and grabs hold of Samantha to prevent her from getting down. Samantha then grabs hold of Nina and pulls her off of the top of the cage and the two of them plunge 15 feet down to the concrete floor)
Jon McDaniel: The two of them must be seriously hurt!
Brian Rentfro: I can go comfort them if you want!
Jon McDaniel: Both Nina and Samantha hit the floor but which one hit first?
(Dwayne Cross runs over to the ring announcer and informs him of his decision.)
Ring Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, PWA official Dwayne Cross has informed me that Samantha Moran's feet hit the floor first! And therefore, the winner and new PWA Women's champion, Samantha Moran!!!!
Jon McDaniel: What a match!
(Samantha is helped up and receives the Women's title as her hand is raised.)
Jon McDaniel: On to our next match, the finals of the Who's the Man tournament!
Ring Announcer: Coming out first, please welcome tonight's special guest referee...from the Pieces of Eight...Integrity!
(A masked man in a referee's shirt walks down the ramp and enters the ring. Once inside the ring, he removes his mask and is revealed as the Man! The crowd goes nuts as he struts around the ring.)
Jon McDaniel: The Man is back in a PWA ring!
Brian Rentfro: Could you think of a more appropriate referee for this match?
Ring Announcer: Introducing first, from the Creatures of the Night....Brymstone!
(Sinister music plays on the PA system and the entire arena goes dark. A dark threatening voice is heard saying "Who dares stand before the might of Hell falls beneath it's sword...beware the coming of the Destroyer." Across the ADC-Tron flashes some of Brymstone's earlier matches along with visions of his dogs Cerberus and Lucifer. A dark blue light shines on the stage and Nina Daemon clad n a dark black robe with a silver ankh on the hood walks out and throws her silver ankh onto the stage. Flames burst out as Brymstone rises to the stage. Brymstone stoops to pick up the ankh and hands it back to Nina. Once he starts down the ramp a eerie howling is heard and pyros go off forming the Celtic dragon. Brymstone wears a black bodysuit with forest green flames running up it to the middle of his chest. A face mask likewise decorated covers his face. He holds the rope for Nina and then climbs over the top rope. Nina throws her ankh into the air and it explodes into a green flash of light and Nina climbs out.)
Ring Announcer: And his opponent...from Area 51...Project X!
(The lights go out and everybody is left in the dark .The phantom of the opera starts playing and then suddenly a blinding white light covers the ramp and Project-X appears wearing all black and a black mask with a phantom of the opera mask over it. As he walks down the aisle the light turns white to green and then back again.)
Jon McDaniel: Don't forget, that the winner of this match gets a World title match at Summer Sizzler.
(Both men stand in the middle of the ring, staring the other down. Brymstone breaks first, throwing a punch at PX. They trade punches and brawl around the ring. Project X manages to trap Brymstone in a corner and works him over with knees to the midsection. The Man calls for a break. PX steps back and then dropkicks Brymstone. PX rolls Brymstone over and starts choking him against the bottom rope. The Man steps in and enforces a clean break. Brymstone gets to his knees and takes PX down with a powerful uppercut. Brymstone crawls to Project X and slams his head repeatedly into the mat.)
Brian Rentfro: I love it when technicians put on a wrestling clinic like this!
(Brymstone is on his feet, steps back and nails PX with a hard soccer kick to the ribs. Project X doubles over in pain. The Man stands back and watches the action. Brymstone steps back and nails another kick. Brymstone pulls PX up and whips him into the corner. He follows up with a charge, but Project X jumps out of the way, causing Brymstone to hit the post hard with his shoulder. Project X pulls Brymstone back and lands an inverted suplex. Project X whips Brymstone into the ropes and catches him in a choke.)
Jon McDaniel: Here comes the Probe!
(The Man steps in and forces Project X to break the chokehold! They argue while Brymstone comes up behind Project X and spins him around. Brymstone lifts Project X up in a choke, flips him around and hits the Pits of Hell! Brymstone covers and the Man drops down. One.two.three!)
Brian Rentfro: That was a fast count!
Jon McDaniel: It sure was, but that doesn't matter anymore! Brymstone is the new Man, and he'll go on to face the PWA World Champion at Summer Sizzler! And the next match will determine who his opponent will be!
Ring Announcer: Please welcome out for special guest commentary, the President of the Pioneer Wrestling Association....President Rob Robinson!
(Sabotage by the Beastie Boys plays as Robinson, wearing a black suit, walks to the announce position accompanied by Messiah.)
Ring Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is a special Hell in the Cell match for the PWA World Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, the challenger. From the Dakota Badlands...Rage!
(The arena goes dark, blue strobe lights begin going off throughout the arena like lightning, and "When Worlds Collide" by Powerman 5000 begins playing. During the intro of the song a woman's voice can be heard, "Can you feel it?.............The Adrenaline?..............The Future?..............The Legend...........THE RAGE!?! Red, blue, and green pyros explode on the stage and down the aisle as Rage comes out wearing an unbuttoned black trench coat. He casually walks down the aisle, taking the time to slap the occasional fans hand before entering the ring. Rage stands in the middle, arms held high in the air as he stares toward the heavens. The strobes stop and the house lights come back on as Rage takes off the jacket to reveal his in ring attire (black pants with red "flame" designs on the sides).)
Ring Announcer: And his opponent, the PWA World Champion...Panzadise!
(The NAP Theme comes on as Panzadise walks out, alone. His ribs are heavily bandaged from his battle with Raizzor the night before. He slowly walks to the cage, stops at the door and stares at Rage. The referee motions Rage to stand in the far corner while Dise enters the ring. Once Rage does as instructed, Dise enters the cage and the door is locked behind him. Once Dise is in, Rage runs across the ring and hits a suicide dive on the champ.)
Jon McDaniel: Rage isn't wasting any time!
President Robinson: I knew he wouldn't. That man has been living for this moment!
(Dise and Rage pick themselves up off the floor. Rage grabs a handful of Panzadise's hair and slams his head into the side of the cage. Still using Dise's hair, Rage rakes the champ's face across the cage, cutting him open. Rage executes a roundhouse kick to Dise's midsection, knocking the wind out of the Panzy. Rage jumps onto the ring apron, then springboards off the second rope into a moonsault. Dise moves out of the way, and Rage hits the cage full on. Dise picks up a section of the ring steps and slams them into Rage's back.)
Brian Rentfro: Ten bucks says at least one career is over after this match!
(Panzadise pulls Rage to his feet and sets him up for a piledriver on the steps. Rage straightens up and backdrops Dise to the floor. Rage comes off the steps with a legdrop onto Dise. Rage lifts the ring apron and searches for something under the ring.)
Jon McDaniel: What is he looking for?
(Rage comes back out with a length of chain wrapped around his fist. He punches the now standing Panzadise with it, causing the blood to flow faster out of the wound. Rage goes for another punch, but Dise blocks it and catches the arm, pulling Rage up into a fireman's carry. Dise hits a Death Valley Driver onto the ring steps.)
President Robinson: Any normal man would be finished after that move, but I promise Rage isn't even close to done.
(Panzadise takes the chain away from Rage and starts to whip him with it. After a few swings, Dise pulls Rage up and rolls him into the ring. Dise pulls back Rage's leg in a half crab, working the back. Rage struggles and finally reaches the ropes. Dise releases the hold, then drops a knee onto the injured back of Rage. Rage fights to his knees and tries to use Panzadise to pull himself up. Dise pulls back to punch Rage, but Rage hits the Panzy with a headbutt to the groin. Dise doubles over, and Rage manages to get to his feet. Dise is still doubled over, and Rage DDTs him. Both men stay down.)
Jon McDaniel: Both men are hurting right now, and it could be all over! If one of them doesn't get up, the Panzadise will retain the title!
Brian Rentfro: Neither of these men have been pacing themselves. It has just been flat out violence from the get-go. That's a mistake they're both paying for now.
(Rage rolls out of the ring and goes under the apron again. This time he comes out with a table that he sets up outside the ring. Rage rolls back in and stomps Dise, then kicks him under the ropes to the ring apron. Panzadise uses the ropes to pull himself up, and as soon as he is standing, Rage spears him, sailing between the ropes, and both men crash through the table.)
Brian Rentfro: I'm telling you, it is all about the pacing. Rage knocked both of them out cold with a DDT, now he pulls this stunt! What is he thinking?
President Robinson: He's not thinking at all...
(Panzadise stands first. He kicks half of the broken table over onto Rage then splashes it. Dise gets another table from under the ring and leans it at an angle on the cage. Dise picks up Rage and Panzadise Bombs him through the table!)
Jon McDaniel: Dise needs to make the pin now! Get Rage back in the ring and pin him!
Brian Rentfro: Wise up, Jon. Neither man has tried for a pinfall yet. They don't care about that. They just want the other to hurt.
(Panzadise rolls Rage into the ring. He makes the cover. One...two...Rage gets a foot on the ropes.)
Brian Rentfro: Can he hear us?
(Dise pulls Rage up, whips him into the ropes and powerslams him. Dise covers. One...two...thr-kickout! Dise slaps the mat and argues with the referee. Rage crawls to the corner and pulls himself up. Slowly, Rage climbs the turnbuckles while Dise is in the ref's face. Dise stops fighting, then turns around to be caught in a twisting body press. Rage covers. One...two...kickout. Rage pulls Dise up and whips him into the ropes, but Dise reverses it. Panzadise attempts a clothesline, but Rage catches his arm and twists it behind him in a hammerlock. Rage grabs Dise around the waist with his other arm and lifts him back in a modified German suplex. Rage lifts up to bridge, and Lance Weston drops down to count. One...two...three!)
Jon McDaniel: Rage has won! Rage has won!
President Robinson: I can't believe you ever doubted it. Now if you'll excuse me...
Ring Announcer: Your winner, and NEW PW...
(Rage shoves the ring announcer and interrupts him. President Robinson has the cage unlocked and he and Messiah climb into the ring as Lance Weston helps Panzadise out of the cage. Robinson whispers something into the ring announcer's ear as Banshee runs down the entrance ramp, carrying a bag.)
Jon McDaniel: What is going on?
Brian Rentfro: I've got no idea, but I'm sure we're about to find out.
(Panzadise is staying at ringside and Banshee hands the bag to Robinson. Robinson nudges the ring announcer, who raises the microphone to his mouth.)
Ring Announcer: Your winner, and NEW...TWSN World Heavyweight Champion...Rage!
Jon McDaniel: TWSN? But didn't they close down?
(President Robinson takes the microphone.)
President Robinson: Weston, hand the PWA belt back to Panzadise, please. Now, I'm sure you're all waiting for an explanation, aren't you? I'll put it as simply as I can. Rage has no interest in the PWA World Title. From day one, all he's said to me is that he wanted the TWSN championship. And, truth be told, even though I hate Panzadise, he is a very marketable champion. Rage won the PWA title, but that was just gravy as far as he is concerned. And let's face it. He's not the kind of guy that kids love. Dise at least sells a lot of posters and shirts.
Rage: All I can say is my day has arrived! For a year I've waited. And now the belt that should have been mine so long ago is finally where it belongs!
President Robinson: Maybe now all you people that have been crying about Rage for so long will finally shut the hell up. I'm the star maker here. I made this man into the superstar known as Rage. Forget anyone else that ever tried to use that name, because for now and forever more, this is Rage. And now that he has cemented his place as Rage, I'll fess up to his former name. You all probably know him better as the Dragon. That's right. The same man that was the tag team champion here in the PWA. The same man that Paradise screwed out of the World title in the TWSN. And just like I made him a star, I'll do the same with the new Messiah. No longer will people snicker at the former King Agony. Now, he will be a force in the PWA!
(Robinson reaches into the bag and pulls out a title belt.)
President Robinson: For you, Rage. I was able to talk to President Buckingham from the old TWSN and purchase this for you. Wear it with pride. Messiah, could you please put this around the waist of the new champion?
(Robinson hands Messiah the belt. He goes behind Rage and fastens it around his waist.)
President Robinson: Now I've got the best of both worlds. A real wrestling world champion in Rage, and a paper champion that all the little school kids will love in Panzadise. Could life be any better?
(Messiah steps back, looks at Rage, then superkicks him to the back of the head. Banshee screams as Rage hits the mat.)
Jon McDaniel: What???
President Robinson: What the hell do you think you're doing? Do you want to go back to being King Agony?
(Messiah grabs Robinson's shirt and throws him into the corner. Messiah reaches behind his head and starts to untie his mask. Before he removes it, Messiah picks up the microphone.)
Messiah: Robinson...time to pay.
(Messiah pulls off his mask to reveal Brian Andersen! The crowd goes nuts! Robinson's eyes get huge and he tries escaping, but his legs are having trouble getting him standing.)
Jon McDaniel: Oh my god! Brian Andersen is back!
(Andersen pulls Robinson up by the hair, gets him in a front facelock, then lifts him up for the Breakdown! Andersen stands, spits on Robinson and Rage, then steps out of the ring. As he leaves the cage, he shakes Dise's hand, then heads up the entrance ramp.)
Brian Rentfro: I can't believe what I just saw! Brian Andersen is back and he just beat the snot out of President Robinson! The medics are taking Rage and Robinson out of the ring now.
Jon McDaniel: After all that has happened already, I'm exhausted. And we've still got the main event left!
Ring Announcer: The following match is for one fall. Introducing first, from Winnipeg, Canada...Sirus Moran!
('More Human Than Human' plays. He runs and jumps up and down the aisle. He brings 'Al' along with him to the ring, waving him in the air.)
Ring Announcer: And his opponent, competing in his final match...Raizzor!
(The lights go out, as the Final War by Insignia (An original piece written for Raizzor) blares over the loudspeaker. Raizzor walks out and down to the ring amidst spotlights shining over him, the lights slowly come back up as he enters the ring. Both men face each other and shake hands. They lock up, but neither man will give an inch. They break the lock up, circle the ring a bit, then lock up again. Sirus powers Raizzor into the ropes and whips him to the opposite side. Sirus drops down and Raizzor runs over him, then Sirus leapfrogs over Raizzor. Finally on the rebound again, Sirus hiptosses Raizzor, who rolls across the ring and gets back up. Raizzor offers his hand out for a test of strength. Sirus slowly accepts. They lock the first hand, then the second hand. Raizzor pushes Sirus down to his knees, but Moran won't release the move. Sirus' face turns red from effort, but he forces himself up. He tries to power Raizzor down and finally is successful. Raizzor works his way back up, and uses the knuckle-lock to give Sirus a belly to belly suplex.)
Jon McDaniel: Both men are taking this match very seriously and it shows. They have to be careful not to make any mistakes, because with wrestlers of this skill level, one mistake is all they need to put you away.
(Raizzor grabs an armbar on the fallen Sirus. Moran fights to reach the ropes and eventually makes it. Raizzor releases the hold and Sirus gets up. Raizzor starts to whip Sirus into the ropes, but Sirus reverses it. Sirus catches Raizzor in an abdominal stretch off the ropes. Sirus twists Raizzor around, hooks the other arm and nails an impaler DDT. Sirus covers, one...two..kickout. Sirus pulls Raizzor up and gets an irish whip revered. Raizzor ducks down for a back body drop, but Sirus leaps over him for a victory roll. Raizzor rolls through to make the pin attempt himself. One...two...Sirus reverses...one...two...Raizzor reverses...one...two...kickout.)
Brian Rentfro: What a great series of reversals!
(They lock up again and Sirus comes out on top with Raizzor in a front face lock. Sirus lifts Raizzor up and nails him with a flapjack. Raizzor hits the mat hard enough to flip over. Sirus locks on a dragon sleeper. Raizzor fights, but he's in the middle of the ring. The referee lifts his arm once...twice...it stays up. Raizzor uses his legs to pull himself toward the ropes, but it is a slow progress. It is a hard fight, but Raizzor finally reaches the ropes. Sirus breaks the hold. Raizzor pulls himself up using the ropes, then takes down Sirus with a superkick. Raizzor climbs up top and lands the guillotine leg drop. He covers. One...two...three!
Brian Rentfro: Raizzor has won his retirement match!
(The referee is waving his hands and pointing to Sirus' foot, which is on the bottom rope.)
Jon McDaniel: Not quite yet!
(Sirus slowly stands up. Raizzor swings a left at Sirus, but the Moran catches his arm and locks it under his right arm. Sirus does the same with Raizzor's right hand. The Moran hits a series of headbutts on the Sharp One, then whips him into the ropes. Sirus catches Raizzor, spins him around and nails the Nameless Knockout! One...two...kickout!)
Brian Rentfro: I can't believe it! Raizzor kicked out of Sirus' finisher!
(Raizzor and Sirus both stand now, though neither man is steady
on his feet. They trade punches until Raizzor block Sirus' punches. Raizzor
scoops Sirus up and spins him around.)
Jon McDaniel: Here comes the Tombstone Shoulderbreaker!
(Sirus wiggles his legs and forces Raizzor backwards, reversing the move. Now Raizzor does the same to reverse it again. One more time, Sirus reverses the move and executes the Tombstone Shoulderbreaker on Raizzor! Sirus covers, one...two...three/kickout! The ref calls for the bell.)
Brian Rentfro: I can't believe it! That couldn't have been any closer. Raizzor was about a tenth of a second too slow with the kickout...
(Both men stand up in the middle of the ring and Raizzor raises Sirus' hand. They hug as the entire PWA locker room empties into the ring. Panzadise slowly walks alone to the ring. He walks up to Raizzor, extends his hand, then as Raizzor is about to shake it, turns his hand and extends the middle finger, then clears out of the ring.)
Jon McDaniel: What a show of support for the legend known as Raizzor.
Brian Rentfro: Look at this! Here comes President Robinson!
(Robinson walks to the ring with a replica PWA title belt in his hand. He steps into the ring, shakes Raizzor's hand and straps the belt around his waist.)
Jon McDaniel: This isn't about feuds or stories or anything else. President Robinson just paid his respect to one of the men that helped form the PWA into what it is today. We're all out of time for tonight, but we'll see everyone Wednesday at Chaos!
(The scene cuts back to the ring with the wrestlers all talking and celebrating and then a fade to black.)
