Ring Announcer: The following match is for the PWA World title...Introducing first, the challenger. From Natural Selection...Rage!
(When World's Collide by Powerman 5000 comes on as Rage comes to ringside, followed by Fear and two midgets dressed as Raizzor and Chamelion.)
Ring Announcer: And his opponent, the PWA World Champion...Sirus Moran!
(More Human than Human comes on as Sirus and 'Al' come out with Grifter and the Homeless Man.)
Lean Bean Miller: The two men lock up and Sirus gets sent into the ropes. Rage takes him down with a brutal clothesline. Sirus is up quickly and he and Rage start trading punches. A surprise kick in the stomach doubles over Rage and Sirus hits a DDT with a floatover to cover! 1........2.....kickout.
Tony Danza: That was a really slow count, Lean Bean.
Lean Bean Miller: You've got that right, Tony. But this is a new referee and I imagine he's still getting the feel of things. As long as he keeps his counts the same for both men, things should be fine. Rage is up, but still looks stunned from the DDT. He wasn't expecting that one at all.
Tony Danza: Sirus knows he's got to pull out all the stops. I mean, he's in the ring with the man that retired Raizzor and Chamelion, so you can't take him lightly!
Lean Bean Miller: Rage charges and spears Sirus, knocking the wind right out of his sails. Rage poses for the crowd, who reward him with a chorus of boos. Rage pulls Sirus to his feet and attempts to whip him into the ropes, but Sirus reverses it. He hits the Nameless Knockout! 1...........2...........the referee is saying that Rage got his shoulder up! What the hell is going on?
Tony Danza: From where I'm sitting, it didn't look like Rage even moved!
Lean Bean Miller: He didn't...what's the story with this referee?
Tony Danza: That's what Sirus is wondering, too! He's got the ref cornered and is demanding an explaination! Rage has just now rolled over on the mat, so I know he didn't kick out.
Lean Bean Miller: Rage is behind Sirus now and rolls him up! 123! That's the fastest count I've ever seen!
Tony Danza: The referee is raising Rage's hand as champion! The fans are irrate!
Lean Bean Miller: Robinson must have ordered this new ref to cheat for Rage, I don't believe the lengths the President would go to just to screw with Sirus!
(The ADC-Tron comes to life, showing a man whose face is masked in shadow.)
Commissioner: I've got to hand it to Robinson, that was a pretty clever trick buying off a referee like that. It was a clever trick, but he forgot one thing. He's not the only one with some power around here. I'm restarting the match with a new impartial referee, senior ref Lance Weston.
(The fans go crazy.)
Lean Bean Miller: Rage is beside himself! Rage is screaming at Weston as he enters the ring, but Sirus spins him around...he hits the Wrong Hand of Doom! 1...2...3! Sirus is still the champ!
Tony Danza: Look at this! Robinson is running down to the ring and he doesn't look amused!
President Robinson: So, you think that's funny, do you? Well, I've got something to say aboot that, you damn Canuck freak! At Manitoba Mayhem, Rage will get his rematch. And in this match, Sirus, there won't be any DQs. Everything is legal. So put that in your pipe and smoke it!
Lean Bean Miller: That sounds like Sirus is going to have a rough night! But we're out of time tonight. Be sure to tune in to Jon McDaniel and Brian Rentfro on Saturday at Rampage!
