(As we come in from the opening credits, Perfect Execution are already in the ring.)
Ring Announcer: And their opponents, Cash Money and the Booya Kid, the Fab 2!
(The Fab 2 walk to the ring amidst a small amount of cheers.)
Jon McDaniel: Both teams are looking to make a splash here. This is the match that could start either one of them up the title contention ladder!
Brian Rentfro: More importantly than that, Jon, is the fact that Perfect Execution needs to try thinking about getting some momentum going into Genesis and their match against the Cereal Killas.
Jon McDaniel: The Executioner and Cash Money lock up. Executioner whips Money into the ropes and nearly takes his head off with a clothesline! What power from the Executioner! Money tries getting to his feet, but the Executioner pounds him back to the mat with double axe handles! The pounding continues and the ref has to get in between the two!
Brian Rentfro: I think Cash Money is sorry he came back into active competition!
Jon McDaniel: Executioner pulls Money up by the hair and then throws him out of the ring. He yanks on the top rope which slingshots the Booya Kid into the ring! Booya Kid backs off on his knees, begging off! The Execution is laughing! Executioner grabs Booya in an iron claw! Been a long time since I've seen that move! Oh my! He just slammed Booya Kid using that iron claw! Executioner puts one foot on Booya's chest and referee Lance Weston drops to count! 1...2...3!
Winner: Perfect Execution
Brian Rentfro: Dear lord! The Executioner just dominated the Fab 2 tonight!
Jon McDaniel: You're not kidding. And that's got to send a message to the Cereal Killas!
Jon McDaniel: With Genesis just days away all eyes are
going to be on Sunday for what is sure to be the PWA's greatest installment of Genesis
yet!
Brian Rentfro: That's right Jon and one of the matches at Genesis is
going to show of a couple of newcomers here in the federation, Animal and the man set to
compete in this next match Acid!
Jon McDaniel: Animal isn't a rookie to the PWA ring, he has a short stint
with us a while back
[Suddenly "The Final Countdown" by Europe hits the loudspeakers and former PWA
World champion Dalton Campbell appears at the top of the ramp dressed
in a fine suit. He walks down the aisle towards the announcers table where he pulls
up a chair and takes a seat.]
Brian Rentfro: What is The Spider doing here? He isn't scheduled to
compete tonight?
Dalton: How are you Gentlemen? All your talent are belong to us!
Jon McDaniel: WHAT?
Dalton: What does it look like I am doing here? Styx asked me
to scout the PWA for some new talent to add to The Masters talent, and I figured what
better place to get a first hand look at the action then right here with you guys.
Brian Rentfro: Great
Dalton: Shut your mouth Brian.
[Fear's music plays as he stands up at the top of the ramp wearing a leather mask
concealing his facial features. He steps towards the ring with long purposeful
strides. Walking up the stairs he easily steps over the top rope and into the ring.]
Jon McDaniel: Do you think that Fear would be a good addition to the
Masters?
Dalton: What kind of show do you think I run here Jon, a retirement home?
We are looking for new talent, up and comers. If I wanted to know what Fear could do
I would watch those dusty old tapes from Genesis one.
Brian Rentfro: So you are here to look at Acid?
Dalton: Did I say that Brian?
Brian Rentfro: You said that you were looking for new talent and not Fear
I assumed
Dalton: Don't assume. It's bad for your health.
[As the man they call Acid walks his way to the ring the lights dim down and and then
green pyros shoot all over the arena. He is wearing a black tee-shirt with a grunge band
on the front, as well as torn jeans. He also wears black boots and has a bandana around
his head. ]
Jon McDaniel: Here we go!
Ding Ding Ding
Brian Rentfro: We all know how this is going to end The guy doing color
commentary runs into the ring with a chair and beats down one of the competitors.
Dalton: Maybe this ending is the one where the guy doing color turns
around and beats the holy hell out of the annoying regular commentator who doesn't know
when to keep quiet.
Brian Rentfro: *gulp *
Jon McDaniel: The two men lock up in the center of the ring. They
are about the same size, but Fear manages to win the strength contest and he throws Acid
into the ropes. Acid bounces back with a huge clothesline sending Fear down to the
ground.
Dalton Campbell: How basic
Brian Rentfro: Acid is pulling Fear up to his feet now, he whips into a
corner and then follows up with a splash right to the chest. Acid hops up to the
second rope and begins to pound Fear with fists to the head.
Jon McDaniel: Fear responds with a knee to the exposed groin of Acid.
That had to hurt.
Dalton: He left himself wide open for that one. Acid has no one to
blame for the loss of his family jewels but himself.
Brian Rentfro: You aren't easily impressed are you?
Jon McDaniel: Fear takes advantage of the stunned Acid and nails a
huge swinging neck breaker. Fear gives Acid a kick to the ribs and decides to try
and go for a pin. The referee makes the count 12 Kickout!
Brian Rentfro: Fear lifts up Acid and hip tosses him out of the ring.
Fear leaps over the ropes and drags Acid over to the guard rail. He tries to smash
his head down into the cold steel rail but Acid reverses!
Jon McDaniel: Acid is slamming Fear's head repeatedly into the metal
guard rail right now. Acid then grabs Fear by the hair and is dragging him over
towards us!
Brian Rentfro: The referee is yelling at the two men to take it back into
the ring and Acid decides to change direction and throws Fear into the ring. Acid is
climbing the turnbuckle now, he is going for a high risk maneuver!
Dalton: Bad idea
Jon McDaniel: As Acid flies through the air Fear rolls out the way
letting his opponent crash harmlessly into the mat. Fear picks up Acid and goes for
a belly to belly suplex but Acid over powers him and reverses the move into a bridge!
The referee counts 1 kickout!
Brian Rentfro: Acid was off balance there, it was a good try though.
Acid is continuing to kick and stomp the fallen Fear. He picks him up and
drags him over to the ropes.
Jon McDaniel: Looks like he is setting the big man up for the Acid drop!
Brian Rentfro: Fear isn't ready to give in yet! He is smart
competitor and he sees what is going on. He grabs Acid by the wrist and Irish whips
him into the opposite corner. Fear strides over and begins to choke Acid with his
boot!
Dalton: Neanderthal tactics to the rescue again for Porter.
Jon McDaniel: The referee is yelling at Fear to break the illegal hold.
Fear finally breaks the hold and sets up Acid for a superplex off of the second turnbuckle
Brian Rentfro: Fear flies backwards off the ropes and makes a pin
on Acid 12.3.. no! Acid kicked out! How much more beating can this guy take!
Dalton: Well he has got stamina. I like that.
Jon McDaniel: Was that a compliment from you Dalton?
Dalton: Perhaps
Brian Rentfro: Fear is looking quite angry now as he picks up Acid
by the hair. Fear tries to whip Acid into the corner turnbuckle. Wait,
reversal by Acid! Fear crashes into the turnbuckle and Acid runs over.
Jon McDaniel: Acid is setting up Fear for the Acid drop! He has him
up on the ropes now * CRASH * Acid comes flying down to the mat with Fear on his
shoulders. Acid makes the pin! 123!!!!
* Ding, Ding, Ding *
Ring Announcer: The winner of this match by pinfall ACID!!!!
Dalton: Not bad for a rookie I suppose.
[The referee hands Acid the belt, as Dalton takes off his headset and looks at the two
competitors in the ring. Acid and The Spider lock eyes for a second but Dalton
simply walks of to the back.]
Jon McDaniel: Just one more match to go Brian!
Ring Announcer: Introducing first, Psycho Sandra!
("Sikamikaniko" by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers plays, and she walks out wearing a red plastic swimsuit-type outfit. She does round offs down the ramp and jumps energetically into the ring, tossing out jalepeņos to the audience)
Ring Announcer: And her opponent...the Brutal!
(The sound of drums is heard from the sound system, starting softly at first and growing louder until it fills the entire arena. The Brutal appears from backstage, clenching his fists. He is outfitted inshiny armor, which covers his upper torso and a metallic helmet covers his head and face. He marches to the ring and sheds his breastplate before entering.)
Jon McDaniel: Brutal charges Sandra, but she easily side steps and dropkicks him out of the ring. The Brutal slaps the apron in anger before coming back into the ring.
Brian Rentfro: I don't think you want to piss that guy off!
Jon McDaniel: Brutal comes at Sandra again and shrugs off her chops to the chest. He grabs her arm and whips her into the ropes! Sandra ducks a clothesline and grabs his arm, then jumps up and swings behind him!
Brian Rentfro: She'd better know what she's doing! She's in position to be Samoan dropped!
Jon McDaniel: Brutal is falling backwards! You must be psychic, Brian! No, wait! Sandra pulled him back into a crucifix pinning combo! 1...2...3! The Brutal is beside himself!
Winner: Psycho Sandra
Brian Rentfro: I can't believe it! Psycho Sandra totally shocked the Brutal with that pin out of nowhere!
Jon McDaniel: But she's building momentum for her match against Sirus Morna for the Grizzly Beer title!
Jon McDaniel: Oh no, what is he doing here?
Brian Rentfro: Probably here to give the show a boost.
(The boo's from the crowd soon begin to resonate in the darkness...Across the ADCtron the image of rolling clouds...flickers of lightning, and then suddenly the top of the ramp way is struck with a lightning bolt...and simultaneously the house lights come back up as white pyros ignite around the top of the ramp
way...)
Jon McDaniel: I hope he doesn't stay long, cause I really want to get home early tonight.
Brian Rentfro: Shhhhh. I'm interested in what he has got to say.
(Nightstryker walks straight towards the ring, not even looking at the crowd who is throwing empty cups and various other objects at him. He slides into the ring, opening his trench coat in the process, revealing a mic in his hand.)
Nighstryker: You all boo as if you think I care. I told you all I was going to make a change tonight. So just shut your mouths and watch.
Sirus, get your ass out here and put that title on the line against me. Don't try anything either. I wasn't stupid when I came back. Oh sure, they asked and begged .. and to tell you the truth, I was glad to come back. But some of you may remember that when I came back I had a little clause in my contract. I gave myself a shot at every belt whenever I wanted. I've already used up two of my shots this is my third. All you have to do is come out here and give me a match and we all go home happy. Plus, I go home with your belt.
( Nightstryker tosses the mic to the floor outside the ring and gets set for Sirus.
More Human Than human by White Zombie plays over the loudspeakers. Sirus appears with the Grizzly Beer title in his hand held high. The crowd screams in approval.)
Rentfro " And here he come to ruin a good thing."
McDaniel "Does going on welfare mean anything to you?"
(Sirus also has a mic in his hand. He talks as he heads towards the ring.)
Sirus "Do you have any idea on what I went through to get this title? The sacrifice was to high, but I have it and you want it. Do you think you can handle the curse that comes with it? Do you? Come and get."
(Sirus drops the mic and slides into the ring still holding onto the title. He stands up, looks like he's ready to fight and yells and Nightstryker. He points to himself, then to Nightstryker then to the belt. He raises the belt as if to hit Nightstyker but Nightstryker just stands there. Sirus brings the title back down and looks at it.)
McDaniel "I don't know why Stryker warned him about not doing anything, when has Sirus ever done anything?"
Rentfro "Good point. Sirus doesnt do a damn thing for me."
(He's still talking to Nightstryker but more calmly this time. He walks over to Nightstryker and puts his arm around his shoulders and they both look at the belt. Sirus steps back and mimics an inverted DDT and then a Narcosleepy. Sirus shoulders slump down and now it looks like he's cradling an invisible baby. He looks down at his empty arms and makes gaga faces. Sirus takes out his wallet and shows Nightstryker a picture from it. We can't tell but we think we know of who. He then replaces the wallet and looks at the belt one more time.)
McDaniel "I wonder what he's waiting for. The Grizzly Beer title seems like a perfect fit for Sirus.
(He starts yelling at the belt. He throws it down to the mat and glares at it. He walks circles around it thrusting his finger at it and gesturing wildly. He points to Nightstryker then to the belt. Sirus lays down on the mat face up and crosses his arms. Nightstryker finally makes a move as he slowly walks over and covers Sirus. The ref counts 1, 2, 3. Nightstryker gets up, grabs the Grizzly Beer title and walks away the champ.)
McDaniel "What the .?"
Rentfro "Yes, Iknew it. Nightstryker walks away with the title in a flawless performance."
McDaniel: That's insane, Brian. Stryker didn't do anything. What's going on here? But now he's got back to back matches at Genesis. First against Psycho Sandra for the Grizzly Beer Title and then against Monkey McDee, a man that Stryker tried to kill! We're out of time for tonight, but we'll see you all this Sunday in our home at the PWA Dome in St. Louis for Genesis III!
