The match opened up slowly. Karkus opened up with an onslaught of punches,
but Lard was basically unaffected. Karkus tried to go technical, trying a few submissions,
also ineffective. Near the end of the match he tried for a spear and bounced right off of
Lard. Lard picked him up and whipped him into the corner. Lard stomped Karkus down and hit
him with the stinky-face move. Karkus fell to the mat and Lard climbed up top. He went for
the Lard Drop and Karkus moved. The Masked Lard, winded by the fall, fell over and Karkus
made the pin.
Winner: Karkus
This match was energetic from the start. Both Jay and El Tiger were at
peak performance. The match started with a hammerlock, a set of counters, some acrobatics
by El Tiger, but ended by a missed moonsault by El Tiger. Jay picked him up and tried to
set him up for the J-Plex. El Tiger threw him off the turnbuckle, picked up him and tried
to throw him through the ropes, but Jay held on, shoulder blocked him in the stomach and
finished the match with a sunset flip over the top.
Winner: Jay
Too Panz enters the ring wearing a diving suit made of tiny metal rings, the sort that shark divers wear. They lock up, and Too Panz gets Mako in a headlock. Mako tried biting Too Panz, but can't get through the metal. Mako powers Too Panz into the ropes, Too Panz releases the headlock. Mako leapfrogs over Too Panz, then hiptosses him. Mako goes right for a chokehold and referee Dwayne Cross warns Mako and breaks the hold. Too Panz blocks a right hand and takes Mako down with a jawbreaker. Too Panz starts to pull his opponent to his feet, but Mako blocks it with a low blow, drawing another warning from Cross. While Too Panz is down, Mako starts shredding a turnbuckle cover with his teeth. Too Panz comes up behind Mako and nails a Russian legsweep. Too Panz pulls Mako up and prepares to ram Mako's head into the exposed steel and Dwayne Cross warns the panzy. Too Panz pauses just a second, and Mako takes advantage of it with an elbow to the midsection. Mako grabs Too Panz's head and rams it into the exposed turnbuckle. Cross calls for the bell.
Winner: Too Panz
Fletcher enters the ring first, wearing his black and white referee shirt that says "Hebner" on the back. Brymstone and Porter lock up, but neither man will move. They try again and this time the veteran Porter takes advantage with a knee lift. Porter hits a snapmare takeover and applies a rear chin lock on Brymstone. Brymstone struggles and fights his way up. The Spider and Nightstryker make their way to the ring. Brymstone elbows out of the chin lock and whips Porter into the ropes and nearly takes his head off with a clothesline. Spider jumps onto the ring apron and Fletcher goes to warn him. Spider pulls a large roll of bills out of his pocket and hands it to Fletcher. Suddenly, Fletcher gets something in his eye and can't see the action. Spider and Nightstryker rush into the ring. They all three gang up on Porter, and though he fights back, they overpower him. Nightstryker nails Porter with the Last Nightfall while Spider climbs up and hits him with the Hero's Victory. They roll out of the ring as Brymstone pulls Porter to his feet and Fletcher's eyesight comes back. Brymstone lifts Porter up and nails him with the Pits of Hell for the win.
Winner: Brymstone
The Spider stays in the ring and watches the entry ramp for Metalhead. But Metalhead has some surprises of his own in store and sneaks in through the crowd. He rolls in the ring behind the Spider and smashes him in the back with a chair. Metalhead throws the chair down in the ring, whips Spider into the ropes and drop toe holds him on the chair. Metalhead covers, but Spider kicks out at 2. The Spider rolls out of the ring to collect himself and Metalhead follows. Metalhead runs at the Spider, but the Spider back body drops him onto the guardrail. They brawl around the ring and Spider slams Metalhead onto the announce table. Spider jumps onto the ring apron, up the turnbuckles and comes off the top with a legdrop on Metalhead! The table shatters and Spider rolls into the ring just in time to beat the count.
Winner: The Spider
McDaniel: What a great match that was!
( The lights then suddenly go out as a swirling mist clouds the arena. Red spotlights then
circle the arena as the opening track form the War of the Worlds plays. Sounds of Thunder
can be heard in the arena as as a Vincent Price like voice booms through the arena.)
Voice: Forgotten with the passing of time by the cruel World
He makes his way back to the PWA to seek redemption
And those unfortunate enough to get in his way, will live the pain of a thousand Hells
He comes back not to be forgotten but to be recognised
He is here for redemption and the PWA will soon find out that Redemption Is Pain!
(A man in a druids robe and hood appears on the ramp. He is very tall and has an
intimidating look about him. The red spotlights centre on him as he makes his way down to
the ring carrying a lit candle. He reaches the ring steps and blows out the candle and
leaves it down, as he does so the arena is plunged into total darkness but is quickly lit
up again when red pyro shoots up from the four corners of the ring revealing the druid
unmasked at the steps, revealing the Forgotten One, revealing Project-X.
The crowd goes crazy as P-X steps over the top rope. The Spider rushes towards him but is
grabbed with a vice like grip around the throat and lifted high into the air as the War of
the Worlds opening track still plays. Project-X then brings The Spider down to nail him
with the Probe.)
McDaniel :It's Project-X, It's Project-X!!!!!
Rentfro: Who's he?
McDaniel: The Forgotten One damn it!!
Rentfro: Well I guess I forgot him.
(Project-X then picks The Spider back up and gives him two more Probes.)
McDaniel: Project-X is destroying The Spider!!!
(Metalhead across the ring then looks at P-X with a what the Hell is he doing look,
Metalhead then runs up and drop kicks P-X but he does not budge. P-X then boots Metalhead
in the mid section and lifts him and nails him with a dominator.)
McDaniel: Project-X is cleaning house!!!
(Project-X then grabs a mic as he looks at the crowd with hatred in his eyes, as the crowd
chant "Project-X".)
P-X: You insignificant pieces of shit chant my name for my return but
when I was out of the PWA not one of you sent me a letter asking where I was, not one of
the PWA roster called me asking how I was doing, I was forgotten!!
I sat at home watching PWA on my television week after week and looking at the website and
I was disgusted by what I saw. I decided that I could no longer sit at home and let the
PWA run itself into the ground. First I see them put the World title on a Panzy among
other things! then I read that they had a dispute with Rage but yet next minute I see them
putting the title on him. This fed has turned into a joke! and it is time for me to pick
up the pieces!
I do not give a shit about the fans, cause they do not even give a shit about themselves.
Look at you people, I have never seen this amount of ugly people in the one place before,
accept at Monkey McDee's family reunion, man is that guy ugly!
(The crowd then stop chanting "Project-X" and start booing and throwing garbage
into the ring.)
P-X: I despise each and every one of you and can not stand the sight of
you. You are all a bunch of depressed, fat and ignorant people. But that is a discussion
for another time.
I am here to issue an open challenge to anyone who is brave enough to take on The
Forgotten One and feel my redemption. And do not worry those of you who are too late to
accept because soon the whole PWA will feel my redemption and the PWA will soon find out
that
Redemption
Is
Pain!!
(P-X then drops the mic as the lights go out and the War of the Worlds opening track hits,
the evil sounding Vincent Price type voice then comes on with an evil laugh as Project-X
leaves.)
McDaniel: Something tells me that once again Project-X will be a force to
be wreckoned with!
Brian Rentfro: What else could possibly happen tonight? First Fletcher gets bribed and the Creatures of the Night attack Porter, then our table gets destroyed and Project X returns. Now what?
Jon McDaniel: I sincerly hope we've filled out quota of surprises for one evening, Brian.
Ring Announcer: Introducing first, the challenger....Panzadise!
(The NAP Theme music comes on. The arena is black, then red and silver explosives begin shooting From all over the arena. Once that is complete Dise enters and stands under the big screen. He looks over the arena and smiles as the crowd goes insane. He then walks down the aisle, teasing the ladies and mocking the ass holes. Panzadise climbs into the ring, and pyros shoot out of the turnbuckles.)
Ring Announcer: And his opponent and PWA World Heavyweight Champion, hailing from the Dakota Badlands...Rage!
(The arena goes dark, blue strobe lights begin going off throughout the arena like lightning, and "When Worlds Collide" by Powerman 5000 begins playing. During the intro of the song a woman's voice can be heard, "Can you feel it?.............The Adrenaline?..............The Future?..............The Legend...........THE RAGE!?! Red, blue, and green pyros explode on the stage and down the aisle as Rage comes out wearing an unbuttoned black trench coat and a red and black mask. He casually walks down the aisle, taking the time to slap the occasional fans hand before entering the ring. Rage stands in the middle, arms held high in the air as he stares toward the heavens. The strobes stop and the house lights come back on as Rage takes off the jacket to reveal his in ring attire (black pants with red "flame" designs on the sides).)
Jon McDaniel: Panzadise doesn't waste any time attacking Rage. He hasn't even taken off his trench coat yet! Dise is wailing on him with punches and Rage goes down fast. Rage tries to roll under the ropes to the floor, but Dise reaches over the ropes and grabs his mask, pulling him back up. Rage grabs Panazdise's head and drops down, snapping Dise's neck across the ring ropes.
Brian Rentfro: I'm liking this Rage already! That's the way a champion should fight!
Jon McDaniel: Rage leapfrogs over the ropes and lands a spinning heel kick on Panzadise. Rage springs up to the top turnbuckle and jumps backwards for a moonsault, but Dise isn't there. Panzadise locks on a Boston crab and leans far back, nearly bending Rage in two. Rage reaches, but can't quite make the ropes...he inches closer and finally gets there. Rage staggers to his feet and Panzadise pulls him up. It looks like Dise is ready for the Panzadise Bomb! He jerks Rage up, but Rage reverses into a facebuster! Both men are down!
Brian Rentfro: A woman is running down the ramp! What is this?
Jon McDaniel: She looks like...Banshee!
Brian Rentfro: That ain't Banshee! Look at how big her...
Jon McDaniel: (interrupting) Well if we have a fake Rage, this must be the fake Banshee! Both men are trying to get to their feet now. Banshee throws in a pair of brass knuckles! Rage misses them and Panzadise gets them! He cold cocks Rage! He covers! One...two...three! Panzadise is the champion again!
Brian Rentfro: Banshee, if Rage fires you for screwing up, I'm in room 206 downtown.
Jon McDaniel: The Panzies all fill the ring and hold Rage while Panzadise calls for a microphone.
Panzadise: Rage, fun is fun, but let's face it. You're trying to cut into my Tecmo time and I won't stand for that. So let's end all the little games right now. I promised everyone I'd have a surprise today and I said just wait until you see what I have in store for Chaos. Well now's the time to put up or shut up. So ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, it is time to unmask the imposter Rage.
(Panzadise starts untying Rage's mask while BPP and Too Panz hold him. Dise has some trouble with the strings and Banshee rolls in the ring, hits a double low blow on BPP and Too Panz, allowing Rage to escape.)
Brian Rentfro: It almost looked like Rage was wearing another mask under that one. What is the deal with that?
(Rage and Banshee stop at the top of the entrance ramp and Banshee hands him the microphone she grabbed from the ring.)
Rage: Panzadise, there is no chance in hell of you taking this mask from me.You've stolen everything else from me, but you won't take this. You've taken my belts, you've taken my spotlight, but this is my secret and you can't have it. I'm tired of playing with you, though Dise. This has gone on for a year now, and that's just way too long. Forget the past, but here in the PWA, we're tied at one win apiece. I've had the belt and you've had the belt. Here's what I want. One more shot at you. But next time, no Panzies, no Brymstone, no Raizzor. You've made my life a living hell for the last year, Dise. So I think it is only fitting that you face me in a Hell in the Cell match at Who's the Man! Two men will enter, but believe me, only one man will leave.
(Panzadise is handed another microphone)
Panzadise: Rage....you will never learn. You want another match with me? You want to face the biggest panzy of them all in a Hell in the Cell match? Well Rage, you got yourself a deal. Who's The Man...me and you.....one last time. But trust me, the world will then see who Rage really is, I promise you!
(The crowd goes crazy. Rage and Banshee head backstage, leaving the Panzies to celebrate in the ring.)
Jon McDaniel: Add that to Raizzor and Sirus, and already Who's the Man is looking to be an epic! We'll see you Saturday with the first matches in the Who's the Man tournament!
