Skippy vs. Masked Lard in a body slam match
Not a technical contest by any means. After getting winded on the way to the ring, the Lard was easy picking for Skippy. The Plunger Boy wrestled smart, sending the Lard into the ropes a couple of times. The overweight wrestler could barely stand from all the exercise, and Skippy was easily able to body slam him. Winner: Skippy the Plunger Boy
An exciting contest, with the Monkey and Project X starting things off. Both men looked good, with Project X showing why he is in the Genesis II main event and the Monkey showing why he deserves that spot just as much. A powerslam by X turns the tides, and he makes the tag to Nightstryker. Nightstryker allows Monkey to make the tag to Will Bradley. The Black Sheep comes in and ducks a dropkick from the IC champ, and hits an elbowdrop. Bradley tries to DDT the champ, but it is reversed into a Northern Lights suplex. The crowd is clearly behind Nightstryker on this one. Nightstryker goes up top, and Ashe comes out the crowd as Nightstryker hits a diving headbutt. Ashe gets in the ring and hits the Ashes to Ashes on Nightstryker.
Winner: Project X/Nightstryker (DQ)
The match starts with a shoving match between Chamelion and Spectre. Chamelion gets the better of him, and starts the match against Ashe. Ashe reverse a whip into the ropes and powerslams Chamelion. He tags in The Unknown Jobber. TUJ pulls Chamelion up and attemps a powerbomb, but gets it reveresed into a facebuster. Spectre calls for the tag, but Chamelion won't listen. He continues to work over TUJ, totally ignoring Spectre. Finally, TUJ whips Chamelion into the ropes, and Spectre tags himself in. This leads to an arguement between the two, and Spectre DDTs Chamelion.
Winner: No Contest.
Troy Martin starts his return off strong with this match against the Television champion. He whips the champ into the ropes, bouncing him off the cage on one side, and then executing a drop toe hold, sending Brymstone face first into the cage on the other side. Martin hits a slingshot, making the most of the cage. He tries for a piledriver, but the bloody Brymstone back drops him. Brymstone rakes Martin's face across the cage, busting him open as well. At this point, the Canadian Crippler rolls out to ringside in his chair. Martin takes advantage of the distraction, and hits an inverted DDT on the champ for a 2 count. With that, the Crippler gets out of chair and enters the cage. Both men are shocked. He hits Oh, Canada on Martin while Brymstone watches. Then, as Brymstone goes for the pin, the Crippler catches him in a German suplex, then pulls Brymstone on top of Martin for the pin.
Winner: Brymstone (Pinfall)
Jon McDaniel: This is the main event, folks.
Brian Rentfro: Oh joy. I haven't seen a group of freaks like this since Rage and Fear were a team. I don't know why the Dragon is lowering himself to this level.
(Teddybear's Picnic plays as Big Al and Skippy enter the ring.)
Jon McDaniel: The crowd is going nuts for these two!
Brian Rentfro: For a fat plumber and a guy in a bear suit?
(Heavy by Collective Soul comes on as Might & Magic make their way to the ring.)
Jon McDaniel: Might & Magic rush their opponents, and the match has started! Big Al is pounding on the Dragon, and Skippy and Moke are dueling. Skippy is already going for the Tombstone shoulder break, but it is too early for that, especially with a big man like Moke! He reverses it and hits a Tombstone piledriver on Skippy. Now both members of Might & Magic are fighting Big Al. (Teddybear Picnic comes on the PA again) What is this?
Brian Rentfro: I'm not sure, but I can bet it isn't good for the champs.
(Hundreds of 'Al' dolls fall from the ceiling into the ring. The Dragon and Mokeangelo both stop fighting and take a few steps back from Big Al.)
Jon McDaniel: A giant 'Al' is being lowered down onto the entrance way!
(The giant 'Al' is easily 10 feet tall. It just sits at the entrance for a moment, then explodes in a flash of red light, sending stuffing and paper everywhere.)
Brian Rentfro: Might & Magic spent too much time looking! Skippy is back up, and he dropkicks Moke out of the ring! He landed on his back and can't get up! Now he scoops up the Dragon and hits the Tombstone Shoulder Breaker! He climbs up top and hits the Guillotine Leg Drop! He goes to cover! One...two...
Voice over the PA: Now just wait a second. You've all had your fun, but now it is time to talk business.
Jon McDaniel: What in the world?
(Helter Skelter by the Beatles comes on the PA and the spotlight shines on the curtain.)
Brian Rentfro: Who is coming out?
(President Robinson walks out with a microphone.)
President Robinson: Ok boys, that was a fine match, but it doesn't really solve anything. There has been too much of that going on lately. Well, I'm here to start solving problems. Problem number 1...the Brothers Grimm and Might & Magic are scheduled to face each other at Genesis for the tag team titles. I couldn't have you winning them and messing with my advertised card. I've already had the programs printed up. That problem is now solved. Problem 2...Raizzor, you know my feelings about you. I've hated you since day one, and nothing has changed that. But I hate Crippler even worse. So today is your lucky day. At Genesis II...Raizzor and Chamelion...Hell in the Cell. And now...problem number 3...Sirus, you're not fooling anyone in that bear suit. I know you miss Al, but how would you feel if I told you I recently found some information about his whereabouts? Now, information like that is never free. You're going to have to earn that. But here is what I am willing to do for you. I'll track down Al and have him all ready to return to you, but you've got to pay the piper first. The former President Crippler has challenged me to a match where I pick a champion to wrestle for me against his champion, and the losers leave the PWA. Crippler picked Spectre. I pick you, Sirus. Yes, that is going to mean triple duty for you, since you'll have to fight for the tag team titles and defend the World title, but that's really not my concern. I'll give you time to consider all this, but I want an answer soon. If you say yes...then we'll work out arrangements to get Al returned to you. If not...I guess you'll never see him again.
Jon McDaniel: What an evil, sick man.
Brian Rentfro: You just wish you made half his salary, Jonny-Mac.
Jon McDaniel: We're out of time tonight, so tune in Saturday for more
action. See you then!
