The best way to keep children at home is to make the home atmosphere pleasant - and let the air out of their tires. -Dorothy Parker It's hard to imagine Charlie as a child sometimes. I mean, he's rather large. And very intellectual. But I will tell you this, he is just as much a child when he's with his daughter as anyone I know. Perhaps more so. On the rare occasions that I get to see them, I am just amazed at how well they click. I've seen close fathers and daughters, but I think that perhaps the absence that they had from each other enhanced that to proportions that most don't see. He's very good with all children and they all love him. Of course, so do the rest of us. He's a great person and one that his friends can always count on. From what I understand, he's lightened up immensely since he got little Kendra back, and I think that's wonderful. He doesn't work as hard and he takes time for play. Which is a very important part of life, I believe. If one can't release one's inner child, I do think that life is not quite as enjoyable. And I think that life is there for that purpose. Thank goodness that Charlie now has that going for him. I do have to say that I find the border on this page (which one of the wonderful group made for me since I'm not yet well versed in making graphics) very indicative of Charlie. He has that older brother sort of way about him, even when it comes to his older brother Mikel. Comforting and sheltering and just full of love. What better qualities for a father, friend, and child?
