Laugh
This poem is dedicated to Mustang_sally18
When laughter is too hard to find,
When sadness is your state of mind,
Just think about this instead:
It could be worse – you could be dead!
Pushing up daisies; drawing flies;
Full of worms; no more blue skies.
Down in the dirt, all alone
Nothing left but skin and bone.
Oh, what is that you say?
You don’t like what you hear today?
Then get off your “poor me” butt
And laugh until you split your gut.
In life you only go around once
And it’s too short to be a dunce.
So lighten up, I’ll share your load.
I prefer a happier mode.
Laugh with me and you will find
That I am truly one of a kind.
Of all your friends, none so dear.
I care enough to kick your rear.
This one last thing is all I ask.
Make this thing your daily task
Smile real wide at any price
Always remember to answer “How nice”!
