HOW CBS IS RUNNING THE VOTING AND HOUSEGUESTS CAMPAIGNING?

All-stars vie for 'Big' break - 'Brother' plans casting competish "CBS is shaking up the casting process for the upcoming all-star edition of summer reality staple "Big Brother."

Producers have informed 20 former players they've been selected as finalists for the all-star edition. But in something of a cruel twist -- and a first for a network reality show -- they won't know whether they've made it back into the "Big Brother" house until the show's live season premiere July 6.

What's more, would-be "all-stars" will have to campaign to get into the house, since half of this year's cast will be selected by viewers.

In an "American Idol"-like twist, (fans) then get to choose their favorites via online voting slated to last a week. Players will lobby via the Net and through media appearances, some of which will be set up by CBS publicity as the net begins tubthumping for the official season premiere.

The top three male and female players will be guaranteed a place in the house. Remaining six slots will be filled by producers.

All 20 all-star wannabes will gather outside the "Big Brother" house on July 6. Twelve will be told they've been selected to play the game, while eight will be sent home -- all on live TV. (Spamgirl note: live TV just means that it was taped live, not that it's happening on July 6th)

"They'll be all packed and ready to go," said "Big Brother" exec producer Allison Grodner, who predicts the (premiere) show will contain some high drama as rejected finalists realize they're out of the competition.

Contrary to Internet buzz, players from all six past seasons of "Big Brother" will be eligible for the all-star edition. Grodner and Arnold Shapiro didn't sign on as exec producers of the Endemol USA (series) until season two, radically revamping the show when they arrived.

Producers opted not to cede casting of the entire show to viewers in order to ensure what Grodner calls "the right balance" of contestants. Translation: Nobody wants a house filled with just "nice" players.

"We're looking for a showdown," she said. "You've got your 'Big Brother' heroes and villains, and that's what's going to make for the best drama."

Clash of good vs. evil will be reflected throughout "Big Brother All-Stars," down to the interior design of the house, which will have elements that pay homage to past seasons' players and highlights." (some think it is possible to see a good house vs evil house)

HOUSECALLS RETURNS!!!

CBS Corporation announced the launch of "innertube," a new, advertising-supported broadband channel offering a wide range of free entertainment programming to Internet users.

Innertube has launched a line-up of original series produced expressly for the Internet, as well as new shows that are companions to popular CBS brands. The genres for the original Internet programs will range from reality to musical performance, from entertainment magazine style to talk format, and from sketch comedy to animation.

Several all-new original series are scheduled to debut on CBS's innertube during the summer. They include:

THE BEST OF HOUSE CALLS, featuring highlights from CBS.com's "House Calls," the Internet talk show about BIG BROTHER, which will help viewers get re-acquainted with their favorite villains and sweethearts before this summer's BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS (working title) on CBS

All new, original episodes of the CBS.com talk show HOUSE CALLS, which will continue to stream live on CBS.com and then re-stream on innertube the following day, five days a week.

The Best of House Calls

Premiering on innertube in June, THE BEST OF HOUSE CALLS is a one-hour, bi-weekly program with a four-week run that culls the best episodes of the past two seasons of HOUSE CALLS: THE BIG BROTHER TALK SHOW and presents them with new introductions made by the host of the show, Marcellas Reynolds. This show will lead to the premiere of the new season of CBS's "Big Brother" and the first HOUSE CALLS show.

House Calls: The Big Brother Talk Show

HOUSE CALLS: THE BIG BROTHER TALK SHOW will premiere in July with returning hosts by Marcellas Reynolds and Gretchen Massey. The show streams live on CBS.com Monday through Friday for 30 minutes at 10AM PT/1PM ET and on Fridays for one hour at 10AM PT/1PM ET before re-streaming on innertube. Daily shows feature interaction between viewers and the hosts through phone calls and e-mails, discussions on events that transpire in the BB7 house, prognostications and strategies, and interviews with former BB houseguests as well as current houseguests following their eviction. Notes of interest:

Why do they call Marcellas "the host of the show"? Dis on Gretchen.
Marcellas will be hosting, and therefore NOT in the house.
They're probably running the old House Calls in June because we'll be voting in June... gives us a time frame

THE PAST HOUSEGUESTS I THINK WILL MAKE IT INTO THE HOUSE

In no particular order

please note some of these I wouldn't choose but I think will make it back in

KAYSAR RIDHA-season 6
Kaysar had a way about him. He was thinker. His one line to Maggie in season 5
Maggie:"You just sealed my fate" -referring to making sure she lost the veto competition and believed she was now going home

KAYSAR:"No, I just sealed your parents fate"

Was priceless. The calm deameanor he had and the look of utter shock on Maggie's face was great! Based on that alone he belongs back in BBhouse. People agree because he was voted to re-enter the BB6 house overwhelming by the public.

JAMES RHINE- season 6
James was a master manipulator. That wasn't his only asset, he also was kick butt competiton winner. James was a force to be reckoned with when it came to veto competitions. The only way they could get him was to back door him. Every other time they put him up he won veto and veto'd himself.

HOWIE GORDON- season 6
Hurricane Howie was a laugh on season5. his comedic antics need to be in the house.

DR. WILL KIRBY- season 2
Like I said above from what I get he was something else.

DREW DANIEL- season 5
Appeared to be the innocent boy next door being manipulated by the evil Diane. All the while he was the one doing the manipulating and won season 5

JASE WIREY- season 5
Comedic antic once again this guy had us in stiches for his time in the BB house season 5

ALISON IRWIN- season 4
Alison was the ultimate manipulative bitch. Bring her back to fight with Diane and Ivette over who the biggest bitch of them all is.

DIANE HENRY- season 5
Tye evil Diane, she belongs in the house because we need more than one bitch.

IVETTE CORREDERO- season 6
Ivette drove me nuts, good TV, she belongs in the house because we need more than one bitch.

ADRIA OKINS- season 5
Was a good BB player. She was the only one that had the guts to make a real move season 5

RODDY MANCUSO- season 3
Comedic antics of season 3

APRIL LEWIS- season 6
Whine whinw whine. She drove me nuts. With her and Karen they fight eachother for drama queen of season 7.

KAREN O'NEIL- season 5
Whine whinw whine. She drove me nuts. With her and April they fight eachother for drama queen of season 7. They were so out there that the BB editors did montages in their psycho honors,LOL!

HOLLY KING- season 5
She needs to bring the air head blonde back into action so we can all be annoyed again. Who would do her bidding this time? I doubt Jase would.

BEAU BEASLEY- season 6
He is a drama queen bring him to fight with April and Karen for the title.
