My Recomended album of the month

This is the page where i put an album i really like and my review of it. Then if you think you'll like it, you can go out and buy it , or check it out from your library.(please note that the album will not always be recent, i'm a BIG 80's fan ) My Recomended cd for July is: Version 2.0 by Garbage This is album is way better than their first and has a very nice mix of songs. Here are 4 of my faves:
  1. Temptation Waits This song is funky cool and scary.Great to dance to and singable lyrics .
  2. DumbThis song sure isn't dumb! This is another cool song to dance to. I love the end where you hear Shirley singin in a weird voice (or using some knida techmicale doo-higgie) "Still don't know wot you think of me,Still don't know wot you think of me,Still don't know wot you think of me,Still don't know wot I think of me,Still don't know wot you think of me."
  3. The Trick Is To Keep BreathingThis odd song title was taken from a book. The song is slow and melodic and almost sad (sniff) ."Always the one who has to drag her down, maybe you'll get wot you want this time around"
  4. and finally...

    Wicked Ways

    This definately THE coolest song on the album. It has such an 80's sound to it!! It really sounds like it could be a Pat Benetar song! I love it, It Rocks!!!!!!

For the most part Shirley sounds an awful lot like Chrissie hynde (with a little bit of Debbie Harry and Gwen Stefani), and on the whole, this a great album worth your money!
