Starlight Angel by Hiroyuki Kitazume *****
No Dialouge
Two girls go to a robot amusement park together, only to find out they've been seeing the same guy. It's wonderfully animated, really really cute, and my fave of all 9.
Cloud by Lamdo Mao **
No Dialogue
This one is in black and white till the very end. It's slow drifting anime, and , i must admit, kinda boring! But it was nicely animated!
Deprive by Hidetoshi Omori ****
No Dialogue
This one has a real 80's fantasy feel to it. It's a cool action story. A little girl is taken away from what apppears to be her robot/human guardian. He then fights the cyborg who took her. This one has great animation.
Franken's Gears by Koji Morimoto *
No Dialogue
Ok, I'm sorry, but this one is just dumb. A Frankenstein style monster accidently crushes his goofy creator. Bam, that's it, that's the end. Pretty dumb, huh?
Presence by Yasumi Umetsu *
Dialogue
Presence has the most story quality cos of the dialogue, and i do beleive it's longer than the others. But that doesn't make it better. A lonly English man (with hairy eyebrows) creates a robot who feels. He turns her off and locks her up. Then he grows to be an even lonlier old English man (with harier eyebrows) and he feels bad for locking her up.
A Tale Of Two RobotsbyHiroyuki Kitakubo
*****
Dialogue
This has to be the funniest one, definately! I love it! See, in it, a Japanese celebration is interupted by a mad foreigner with a giant robot. Five 'freinds' are then forced to fight it off with the parade robot. They wind up doing more damage than good, but alltogether this makes an hillarious skit!
And here's a tidbit for you Ah! My Goddess fans : The main character's name is Keichi. In my oppinion this could have easily spun off into a show. It didn't, did it?
NightmarebyTakashi Nakamura
*
No Diaologue
A drunken bum is haunted by large, twisted, icky-looking robots. This one was kind of ugly and slightly disturbing. Actually it kind of reminded me of the video for David Bowie's "I'm Afraid Of Americans".
