MARS is a truly stunning looking game. | The all too common sight of a missing inner backglass. Feeble clips hold the glass and it can easily drop onto the playfield glass when the backbox opens : ( | The inner glass can be easily and securely fixed to the swingout lightbox "door" just like on BH and Volcano. |

Paint it black! Some sample games had an alternate paint scheme to the subsequent production games. In these sample games, the colouration is how one would expect it to be: space is black and the planet (Mars) is red orange. Gottlieb though reversed the use of the black and red-orange colours for the production games. | ||||
