The ensemble has been in existence for 30 years and consists of amateur musicians with an emphasis on strings (violin, viola, cello and bass).   Occasionally, wind players and professional guest soloists are invited.  The love for music inspires all participants.  The greatest works ever composed are often sight read.  A few times a year there are informal concerts.  The ability on the instruments varies greatly, but the main purpose is to explore and share the musical excitement. A small fee is charged for the expenses.
