AOL Live: Pop Group O-Town
I would like to thank Amanda for sending me this chat Transcript.
HostTPZena:  Good evening, everyone! I'm Zena from teenpeople.com, and I'm pleased to welcome O-Town for a live chat tonight! The guys are busy prepping for a pre-Grammy party tonight; we'll start with Dan Miller. How are you this evening, Dan?

Dan Miller:  I am doing wonderful, thank you.

HostTPZena:  We'll just get right into the questions. From Babymandy1:

Question:  What is your favorite song on your album?

Dan Miller:  My favorite would probably be "All or Nothing," Just because it's a really good song.

HostTPZena:  From GrrSelTig:

Question:  Which celebrity would you most like to meet?

Dan Miller:  I think for me, it'd be a tossup between Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. I'd also like to throw Stevie Wonder in the mix, and I'm kind of hoping to meet him at the party we're going to tonight.

HostTPZena:  What party is that?

Dan Miller:  It's Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party. They tell us it's a pretty big deal.

HostTPZena:  Well, have fun! From AngelzBaby18:

Question:  Hi! How do you feel about signing autographs? Does it get annoying or is it just really fun? You guys just seem so down to earth! Thanks! ~ Dusty :-)

Dan Miller:  I just consider autographs part of the job. I think it's an honor that someone would want it, because that means I'm doing something right. It doesn't get boring because if we held signings and no one came, we'd be in trouble.

HostTPZena:  From FeLix511:

Question:  Hey guys! I just saw you yesterday at the NBA store and you were AWESOME! I just want to know -- what do you think about the girls that follow you from place to place? Does that scare you that they know where you are all the time? ~ Jen

Dan Miller:  I definitely think it's a little weird to feel like you're being followed. It's something you have to get used to, and most of the time, we don't mind. It gets a little wearing when you feel like you're being stalked. It's hard to explain where that line is, but that's when it gets wearing.

HostTPZena:  From Sweetie8501:

Question:  Hey guys! What's the best thing about fame so far? Love ya. ~ Tricia

Dan Miller:  The best thing about our kind of fame, and my job in general, is that I get to do what I love everyday, and that I'm not stuck in some mediocre job. I think that sums it up.

HostTPZena:  From PEDRO GIRL45:

Question:  Your CD rules! What's the next single going to be?

Dan Miller:  Actually, we just found out the other day that the next single is "All or Nothing."

HostTPZena:  Your favorite song!

Dan Miller:  That is my favorite song. That might change after we have to sing it everywhere we go.

HostTPZena:  From MAK0013:

Question:  Hi. I was wondering if O-Town is going on tour?

Dan Miller:  We are on tour as we speak. We're doing a tour for "Making the Band," the second season, and we have a whole list of dates. We're touring through the end of March in smaller venues. We're doing the West Coast to the Midwest to the East Coast. If you want exact dates, check our website:  www.o-town.com.

HostTPZena:  From KDeniLou:

Question:  Do you think fame is going to your heads?

Dan Miller:  Definitely not. I really think it's true in our case, that it doesn't go to our heads. We were in a normal situation just a year ago. It flipped for us so fast. It changed for us overnight, so it's easy for us to look back and see how it used to be and how we are. So we want to make sure that we stay real and stay true to the way we used to be before this all happened, so we go home, and our friends and family still want to hang out with us, so that no one gets a bad opinion of us.

HostTPZena:  From Lorim9:

Question:  I love your new song; it's great. How long did it take to make the video for "Liquid Dreams"?

Dan Miller:  It was only a two-day shoot for us, because most of the video was done with computers and computer graphics that we didn't have any hand in. It was weird, because we shot the video in a big green room, and we stood in there all day. We were in about four to five inches of water all day. Me and Erik took a spill early in the day. It's not so easy to dance in water!

HostTPZena:  From XxOTownGoddessxX:

Question:  Do youu guys prefer home-cooked meals or pizza and fast food? O-Town crewwwwwwwwwwww.

Dan Miller:  Definitely home-cooked meals! I've had enough hamburgers and pizza to last me my whole entire life.

HostTPZena:  Should fans bring hot meals to shows?

Dan Miller:  If they'd like, but it's a matter of finding time to eat them!

HostTPZena:  From IMAddicted2OTown:

Question:  What was your most embarrassing moment?

Dan Miller:  Oh, wow... I don't get embarrassed easily, but I think it was a little embarrassing the first time that I had to enter the bathroom with my mic from the TV show on and think about someone listening to me go to the bathroom. It's your first day, and you're a little embarrassed to ask what to do when you go to the bathroom with the mic on. Now we know what to do.

HostTPZena:  Ashley's going to take the reins now. Thanks, Dan!

Dan Miller:  No problem.

HostTPZena:  We're here with Ashley now. Good evening, Ashley!

Ashley Parker Angel:  Wassssup?

HostTPZena:  From Tommygirl1022:

Question:  Ashley, I was at the February 13th concert in Jacksonville, and I wanted to say hi. Did you like our city? Do you enjoy being on the road?

Ashley Parker Angel:  We absolutely love being on the road, because we get to bring our music up close and personal to the fans, and we get to do what we love to do more than anything, which is be up on stage. Everywhere we've been in the US is awesome. We can't wait to come back.

HostTPZena:  From LuisLydia:

Question:  Hey, Ashley, Dan, Jacob, Trevor and Erik-Michael. We were wondering how you guys felt about your album going platinum in Toronto? We were at Square One, and you guys looked sooooo happy... CONGRATS! ***Vanessa and Jessica***

Ashley Parker Angel:  Square One was so crazy. There were all these people in this mall. We were SO happy. I wanted to stage dive, I was so happy. I wanted to jump into all the fans. I wanted to be like -- CATCH ME! I was so happy. We love Canada so much. We can't wait to tour up there.

HostTPZena:  From Fatoosh42:

Question:  I think it's really cool how everyone from “Making the Band” is in a band now. Do you get along with Ikaika, Bryan and Mike, who are now in LMNT? Are there any hard feelings?

Ashley Parker Angel:  No hard feelings. They're going to open up for us. As far as what's planned now, they're opening for us at some point. We always knew that some of us wouldn't make it and wished each the best. We wished success to whoever didn't make it, and that's how it goes for them. We wish LMNT all the best and think it's great that they're doing something.

HostTPZena:  From OoOSugarOoOo:

Question:  Your show is returning in the spring, right? Do you know what date yet?

Ashley Parker Angel:  Around early April.... ::fingers crossed::

HostTPZena:  From Smackette99:

Question:  What is Lou Pearlman like?

Ashley Parker Angel:  He's not what you'd expect. He's a very good businessman, and all in all, he's a pretty likeable guy. I don't know; he's definitely not what people expect. He has an eye for picking and putting groups together, and that's where he has a certain amount of genius.

HostTPZena:  From StFergus:

Question:  What would you be doing now if you hadn't made the band?

Ashley Parker Angel:  I'd be trying to break into this business, doing everything I could to be in music or acting.

HostTPZena:  Do you have any acting plans?

Ashley Parker Angel:  Down the road, yeah. Right now, we're all focusing on O-Town. Originally, I found out about the O-Town audition through my acting coach. I always knew my life would either be music or acting or both. So that's down the road.

HostTPZena:  From LiLbAbysTepHie:

Question:  Where are you the most ticklish? -- Stephanie TIN, NYC

Ashley Parker Angel:  I can't say where I'm MOST ticklish, but I'm definitely very ticklish on my stomach.

HostTPZena:  From FIamingo Chic:

Question:  O-Town, I've noticed a lot of your songs refer to pretty women. Is that what you look for in a girl? And if not, what do you look for in a girl? -- Brandy, Sunny California

Ashley Parker Angel:  The songs do talk about beautiful women, but it's not just outside appearance that makes women beautiful. Personality is a big thing with me. You can have the most beautiful girl in the world, but if you don't have a personality, what is that? Sense of humor is #1... witty, smart, clever girls who are educated -- not just a pretty face.

HostTPZena:  Our time is up. Ashley, thanks so much for joining us!

Ashley Parker Angel:  I love you, to the fans. Come see us on our first US tour. Be a part of the second season of "Making the Band." I love you. I love you. I love you. XOXO
