it's another sux0rs...

Well, to give myself something to do and contribute at last with an article to the sux0rs magazine site, I asked MC FRONTALOT a few questions after diggin the mp3s of uncleared samples and effective fronting. (Calico Girl also got to ask MC Front some questions, hit her site also for more)
for the purpose of this article, immense waffle has been edited, mainly Andy's
Andy: Write some info about yourself.
Frontalot: I was born in San Francisco & I still live here. I have a small dog with no name and also a snake. no other rapper on the planet fronts so frequently, efficiently or effectively as I. There have been thirteen gay US presidents.
His dog now has a name, check the website, the dog is called Pica after Doggy Fresh didn't go down well with housemates. I don't know, Doggy Fresh kinda works.
A: Explain Nercore hiphop, the san fran scene.
F: There is no explanation for Nerdcore Hip-Hop. I don't even know how to hyphenate it consistently. the SF scene consists of a bunch of cool local rappers like Blackalicious and the Coup, and them me. I am not cool. I do not gig. In the whole town I think seven people have heard of me, and I might as well be from New Zealand since they all heard of me via the internet. I have been thinking of hiring some punk-ass kids to spray a stencil of my logo on the sidewalks all over the Mission, like this band Monkey Knife Fight does. Maybe that would help.
A: I noticed that Fiona Apple was sampled, was that just because you liked that specific track or do you like other types of music?
F: I like lots of kinds of music. That beat from the Fiona song ("Sleep To Dream") was just too juicy, I had to jack it. If I ever meet her, I will say, "Damn, lady, the fatness of your first single's beat is rivaled only by the sveltness of your comely frame." To which she will reply, "Oh, you're MC Frontalot! My lawyers have been trying to get in touch with you."
Other singers who I wish to be more like are Soul Coughing, TMBG, Wesely Willis, and Tom Waits. As far as rappers who influence me... basically every rapper I hear on the radio, internet, or mix tape is better at what they do than I am. I listen to enjoy, to emulate, and to steal their mojo. So the answer is; everyone influences me. Except sean combs. That guy doesn't deserve a career.
I can agree with the Fiona Apple beat, it opens her first album "Tidal" and is used on the track "Speed Queen", available for downoad from the website. I went on to ask him:
A: Have you got any plans to do a few shows?
F: Not yet.
The potential is there for a live show. I can imagine comic book characters bought to life by men in costumes and star wars' Obi. But will we ever see the illusive MC Front? He's kept pretty hidden for a while, we only see him in cartoon-form.
A: Also, would you consider collaborating again? And does Kompressor always wear that darn mask?
F: Yes! He always wears it. It is covering up only a slightly less upsetting "actual" face. he is horribly scarred and has only one eye. Covered in boils. Big nose piercing, right through the septum like a bull. Three teeth, all sharpened to points.
I am hoping to recollaborate with the big K, and I'm working on projects with Jesse Dangerously and MC Stephen Hawking.
On that note, he left telling me to notify him when I posted. If you want to hear his material and give him two fifty, you'll be able to download a special two fifty-only track.
Uncleared samples, if he makes it big, he owes big time but the fans will pay for the cds, which in turn, will make enough cash to pay off the record companies.
