BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Buffy The Vampire Slayer premiered on the WB on March 10, 1997. The series is based on the hit movie of the same name "there is a different actress in the series". Buffy, a teenage girl, has a special ability to find and fight off vampires. The show follows her life and vampire-fighting exploits. This show is humorous and somewhat bizarre - therefore hip. The series moved to the UPN Network beginning with its 6th season.
