I saw FREEK's Yngwie Malmsteen homepage before and i realy liked it, all the RA's where nice n stuff...so i went out and made my own Yngwie Malmsteen Homepage. I stole 100% of the code from his site because i didnt know what the hell i was doing. (He probly stole his code from someone else before that!) Me and FREEK got in contact before when i emailed him conserning putting a page on his site where he features recordings from Yngwie Malmsteen fans. He thought that it was a good idea but nothing realy happened. So i went to Steve M's 100% Yngwie page. I talked to him but nothing happened there eather! So i said screw it and made my own Fan Sounds page on my Yngwie Page. I got acouple people to send me stuff and i posted some of my own stuff. After awhile i saw that FREEK made a Fan Sounds page to. So after awhile i started thinking that it was pretty stupid to have two sites when we could have one big one! So me and FREEK started making SA. We wanted to make a real big index where we feature shredders from around the world. But i wanted to go bigger than that so i sugested that we also add pro's to the site.. And just acouple days ago i started adding other bands to the site. Some of the Bands arnt realy Neo-classical but they rule eather way. So now we are working on the site and making it as large as we can, and with my HTML knoledge and FREEK's picture editing we are set! /Chris A. Erikson
"FREEK":
My first site "YNGWIE MALMSTEEN'S OVERTURE" was born almost 1 year ago! I created that site after aquiring some rare demos from a good friend of mine in Canada. I searched high and low on the internet for a site that had some of the eary demos posted and could not find one, so I decided to "create" my own. Although very basic in it's design, I think that the OVERTURE page offers some very unique features and to date I have had over 7,500 hits without being registered on any major search engine!
One of those 7,500 hits was from my fellow webmaster and newfound friend Chris A. Erikson. He's actually the one that got the ball rolling on this whole SHREDDERS ANONYMOUS Site. The funny thing about it is that not too long ago he was copying my html code for his *FIRE & ICE* site, but now his html skills far surpass mine! Which is fine with me, because it leaves him doing the brunt of the work and me taking credit for the cool banners that you will see throughout the SHRED ANON page! =) In all honesty I think we make a good team and have created a page that all SHRED fans will enjoy. I sincerely hope that the feedback from this site will be positive and that "YOU" our visitors will continue to contribute your sound clips, because without your contributions this site would not exist

Personaly i want to add every single shredder and kick ass power metal/heavy metal band to this page. The only problem is finding the time to do that. This shit takes ALOT of time i tell you! I have probly spent like 150 hours total on this page!! The future from me is to make this place the center of shred on the internet, and to get the visitors to participate in this page and the future development of it. Depending upon the reaction that we get from you guys we hope to continually expand and evolve this site. As Chris mentioned this stuff is VERY time consuming, but once we get the initial groundwork laid subsequent updates and additions will become much easier. The fact that I will have a new computer that can handle the programs that I need within the next few months should make things much easier too! If you like our site spread the word to all of your friends whether they play guitar or not! If you don't like our site, tell all of your friends anyway, they just might have better taste than you do! What is it that they say: "ANY publicity is good publicity!".
