- LABELS -

Slimstyle Records is the only local label that I know of. They have bands like Undercover S.K.A, Jimmy Skaffa, Daves Big Deluxe, and The Cresent City Maulers.

- BANDS -

Well...there's Warsaw, and there there great, and there was Daves Big Deluxe, but most of the Warsawshowa are 18+, and Daves Big Deluxeisnt around now...so there not many bands for people my age. There are some 3rd wave bands...Los Locos Gringos...The Plaideators, Duplow (from Phenoix), but not much here. There is also a great reggie-funk band here called Stuck In A Groove, but i cant seem to find a web page for them.

- CLUBS -

Well, the clubs in tucson play everything, there is no 'all ska' club. There's Skrappys, which is a punk/hardcore/emo/metal/ska venue...but they lost there building last year, so there shows are all over the place. Than there's The Double Zero on Congress, that has 18+ punk shows every weekend. Once and a while they will host a Warsaw show, but usually its local punk and hardcore. I cant find a web page for them, if you know of one, E-mail me. Than there's the Realto also on Congress, that sometimes has ska shows...all the popular bands come there. They also have Swingin' Saterday Nights once a month, where they have a swing band play and lots of people swing dance. I cant find a page for The Realto eather.

- OTHER STUFF -

If you like punk, check out Toxic Ranch, on the corner of 6th and 4th ave. It is a record/shirt/patch/button/poster store. It has a great punk selection, and evan some ska once and a while. Zia Records has a great ska comp section, and they have alot of 3rd wave and ska-core stuff.
