There doesn't seem to be any reason to continue quickly down the path, so you decide to take a break and explore the glade that's just within eyesight from the road. Looking in at the glade from the forest, you see a large spring that spills over in a small waterfall to a pond. It seems quite peaceful, and you're hardly surprised to see the majestic creature who is laying there, calmly looking into the water.

As you walk forward for a better glimpse of the creature, you step on a twig that snaps loudly. The creature comes out of her contemplation, looking quickly at you. It's then that you notice the boy who is sleeping against her, and apologize quietly for making any noise. She smiles up at you and whispers back with a bit of laughter in her voice, "Oh, I'm sure it would take much more to wake up Hiret than that, but thank you." Well, now you know who the child is, but have no idea who she is. You decide to introduce yourself first. She nods and replies, "My name is Andaepii, and I'm an Iccelis." You smile sheepishly, and are glad that she told you what she was instead of making you ask. Though you're enjoying your time in the glade, you tell Andaepii that you ought to leave and let Hiret sleep. She smiles at you one last time and says farewell, and then you head back down the path.
