Kimble-"I DIDN'T KILL MY WIFE!"
Gerard-"I DON'T CARE!"
Wrongly convicted of murdering his wife, and under a sentence of execution, Dr. Richard Kimble-HARRISON FORD-escapes when the prison bus crashes. (The bus crash and subsequent train crash are amazing, and moviemakers have yet to better this scene.) Kimble grabs at this chance to track down his wife's murderer, the elusive one-armed man that no one but he saw, and that no one but he, and eventually a painstaking U.S. Marshal, even believe exists. As Kimble searches for her killer, he finds himself also on the incredible journey of finding out why she was killed. |

He can't bring himself to trust anyone in his quest, with the exception of his best friend, fellow doctor Charles Nichols-Jeroen Krabbé-. He is relentlessly pursued by Samuel Gerard-TOMMY LEE JONES-, a U.S. Marshal bent on catching Kimble. With the Chicago police after him, Gerard and his team always only one step behind, Kimble must make his way through unseen betrayal and unlikely friendship. |
