ACTIVITIES :
XO is actively recruiting Starfleet members in Riverside Iowa after an Easter
visit. The local paper is submitting Trek items and is eager to get additional
Trek items from across he fleet. Also working with Starfleet command on
recruiting ideas, but having considerable static on the communication line, so
will have to more activities locally. Funny how those com channels get so much
static! Possible goal for Riverside would be to recruit enough members locally,
train them on the St. George, and have them start their own star ship based in
Riverside.
Charity office has a total of $2,745 in coupons going to our bases overseas. We
have gotten three responses from the bases who all love the coupons and ask for
more. This is a great way to advance in Starfleet, and a great way to help your
fellow Americans.
LCDR John Schulte reports clipping those $2,745 coupons as well as continuing to
donate time to IAGENWEB as county coordinator of Audubon county and as treasurer
for Boy Scouts Troop 579, approximately 10 hours for both.
All's quiet in Sickbay.
