Fortunate Son - Good episode. Good plot! Did not like Lindsey - I know I'm not supposed to. The whole thing with the hat was overshadowing to the max! [8]
Second Acts - I really liked this episode. It had a great plot! The whole thing with Lindsey was interesting as well. I wonder where he got all his information from...the whole scene with his wife was long and drawn out and I know we're supposed to know that he was deleting files from his computer but still! At the end, I like how the SECNAV talked him down, that was priceless......definitely no promotion for you. The way Mac talked to the Admiral was great as well....what a large happy family. I like the bantering between Harm and Mac in the beginning when they talked about what was said about them in the brief....that was great! Looking forward to this week's episodes! [9]
Ice Queen - What an episode! Action, sci-fi, the whole deal - well maybe not the whole deal considering Mac was in it for like 2 seconds. But I really liked the episode! I liked Tony (Michael Weatherly - what a cutie! Didn't really go for the hair though....he looked better in Dark Angel). I didn't really like Viv - she seemed kinda stiff to me. The lab tech and the coroner are just plain weird....a little too quirky if you ask me. Now you can all pretty much guess who killed Singer right.....duh.....Lindsey....after so much had been made about the switching covers and everything. Now the only thing is why.....and whether or not the baby is Lindsey's. On to next week! [8]
Meltdown - Well I must say that this episode was disappointing. I know it was trying to set up stuff for the NCIS spin off but they didn't do a good job. I thought the whole episode was disjointed with the terrorist story line and the Harm storyline. They should have focused more on Harm and less on the other storyline. Mac was again in it for like 2 seconds. She didn't even get to say anything this time. Well the good thing that came out of watching this episode was the previews for next week. Mac-centered episode as well as the fact that Harm and Mac are going to be in the SAME scene. Oooooh, and just look it's not at work....it looks like Harm's place. I have a feeling I'm gonna love the next couple episodes...and that they are going to be action-packed. [5]
Lawyers, Guns, and Money - OH MY GOD! What a superb episode! I think it was the best episode of the season. It had action, courtroom drama, and angst. I thought it was great that Mac walked out on Harm...it's totally true too - every single time he's ready to let go, she does have foot out the door. I loved the Mac/Webb interaction although I am NOT a Mac and Webb shipper. I have a lot invested on the Harm/Mac relationship - my sanity.....just kidding! ^_^! The whole Meredith and Admiral proposal schemes were fun to watch.....I know I said I hated Meredith in the beginning but she's gotten a lot less annoying so that's a good thing! I loved Action Mac! [10]
Pas de Deux - Ehh......I liked last week's episode a whole lot better....I think the whole Harm and Catherine pretend wedding spoiled it for me. I mean I know that her mother is dying but lying is no good! And as you can see, most likely it's going to come back and become an obstacle in the growing Harm/Mac shipper dynamics! I loved the ending action scene with Webb, Mac and Gunny. Great action. I think the last 5 minutes were the best five minutes of the whole show! As well as those previews....my god.....with Harm in civvies....my heart is going pitter pattering away to Paraguay! [7]
A Tangled Webb - Okay.....so I definitely have mixed feelings about this episode. With the analysis for this season finale, I go more in depth to what I thought about concerning each character.
Harriet - Oh, I was glad that she was the strong one for Jen Coates, and I felt so bad for her when the Admiral said that he "didn't" need her for comfort. Karri Turner's acting was superb! Jen - I loved her little speech about how they were all a family and that she didn't want to lose either Harm nor Mac. It goes to show how everyone at JAG was a family. Very good acting and emotional! I was all misty-eyed when she started talking about how she didn't expect this kind of danger at JAG. Bud - Well, we didn't see a lot of Bud in the episode, but Patrick has done a wonderful job this season with his acting! Gunny - Oh the few but in between scenes with our second favorite marine. Loved him in the last couple episodes. I hope they bring him back. I was kinda amazed that he got better so quickly after he got shot, I could have sworn that he was shot in the stomach which is not a tiny wound or anything. Admiral - Ok, I was not really suprised when he wouldn't let Harm go to Paraguay to go after Mac, at least not officially. But to see so little emotion when Harriet came in suprised me. I expected some comforting to go on. I loved his line to Harm about what he was willing to risk to keep Mac, since he was willing to give up his career and possibly his life to go after her. Webb - My god, I felt so bad for him when he was getting tortured. For my sanity, when in the world did he fall that deeply in love with Mac. Yes, I do know that men in general are all a little bit in love with her, but Webb, when we see so little of him to begin with. AND, if you're in that much danger on this assignment, would you bring the woman that you love along to comfort you, putting her in danger as well. Don't get me wrong, I like Webb, but certain circumstances make this part of the plotline unbelievable. I loved how he tried to go after her he volunteered to get tortured in his place....now if that were only Harm....my shipper scenes wishes for the whole season would be fulfilled. Harm/Mac - Ok, I had to do their commentary together, since I'm a shipper all the way. Harm...oh my god...I absolutely loved the scene at the beginning of the ep when he stated that he was going to quit to go after Mac. AND, the doofus still doesn't know what to do once he does get her back. Anyways, it was a blast seeing him in civvies....such a hunk. I was hoping to see more shipper scenes in the episode...I guess I'll ljust have to wait until the premiere to see that, which sucks. I wanted a long scene once they got back together but alas that wasn't to be. I loved his expression when Mac kissed Webb (btw, I think it was a compassion kiss not a "I love you too" kiss)! She kinda explicitly said that she tought of him as a friend. Overall I liked the episode, but I thought it could have been a little more shippery since it was the finale! [8] |
