Host: Everyone knows Steven by watching his TVB series, this
time he has come for promoting his new album "Romantic Holiday",
can you introduce a bit of the songs in this newly album?
Steven: "Romantic Holiday" includes these few years of my
Guangdong CD, inside includes of some good songs which is all
recorded in the "Romantic Holiday" album. This time is my first
time promoting an album all over the mainland.
Host: Which few songs do you like from this album?
Steven: "Romantic Holiday" and "Kiss Again", this is the song
I choose to be in the album, it is a song written in France, it
is a fast feeling song, I don't sing much of these styles of
songs.
Host: What do you think of yourself singing, is there
anything special in it? In HK, you have already released a few
albums right?
Steven: Not only, at least over 10 albums.
Host: Why in HK you have released over 10 albums and now
currently only starting to promote your new album in the
mainland?
Steven: I entered showbiz because of singing, I entered a
singing competition, afterwards my album got released and then
later went into the acting industry and filmed "Duke Of Mount
Deer 98". My songs that I sing are mostly cantonese, I don't
have a lot of chances to sing mandarin songs, because of
spending a lot of time for filming, so that is why I really
haven't used much time in the music industry. Last year, my
filming of TVB series has already risen to a point, I believe in
the acting industry is already stable, so I hope I can spend
more time in the music industry that is why I have released my
first album in the mainland.
Host: Let's talk about your acting in TVB series, because of
many internet friends said some TVB series you have filmed in
has left some memories, how do you look into these roles you've
taken, which type do you look and how does it look?
Steven: I like every role I have taken, of course in between
there will be some I especially like, like "Where The Legend
Begins" the role of Cho Jiet, I feel that I don't have much
feeling in this role, when filming the role and myself I put
them together, when I was filming in "Where The Legend Begins" I
have tried to put myself into the role as Cho Jiet, maybe
because I like this series too much. Others include "Perish In
The Name Of Love", "Healing Hands" and more, every role has its
differences, when I received the script I would revise with the
people, so we can discuss what our roles really are, then we
would start acting it out.
Host: You just said your favourite role is in "Where The
Legend Begins" as Cho Jiet, in the series your partnered with
Ada Choi, can you talk about her?
Steven: We are good buddies, as well as we have many chances
of filming together, we can both communicate with each other
really well. She is a very professional actress. Besides her,
there are many other people I have filmed with, we all are very
good friends.
Host: On the internet, we found out that you and Ada are a
perfect couple, what do you think?
Steven: Because of the timing that we appeared in two series
in a row and the time we spent together more, many people would
think that Ada and I are compatible, I think it's not bad, hope
that in the future we have more chances to be in more series, if
the fans like it, it's good.
Host: Internet friends has asked whether you have taken the
role as "Jia Ye"?
Steven: This series, my manager spoke to the people about it
but still is not confirmed.
Host: Also this series will be co-operated with mainland?
Steven: I haven't filmed this yet.
Host: In HK you have released two books, one is "Why
Suicide?" and the other one is "A Relative Of A Sick Person", in
HK the response is really good, have you thought of distributing
it to the mainland?
Steven: Currently I have organised this, I especially hope
that excluding my album, my books can also be taken into the
mainland, I think this may work but not sure about if it can
make it this year, I will need to look at the other
arrangements, I hope that this year or early next year my books
can also be released in the mainland.
