December 11, 2005~
Tens of thousands of fans voted online or via phone for their favorite performances at the Marshalls U.S. Challenge. Michelle Kwan, returning from injury, may not have been at her best, but she left no doubt she's the most beloved skater of all time. October 25, 2005~
Michelle has been cleared to resume skating!! She has been off the ice for the past two weeks with a strained ligament in her right hip. Complete recovery is expected to take up to one month, so, unfortunately, Michelle has withdrawn from the 2005 Cup of China, Nov 3-6, in Beijing, China. October 6, 2005~
Michelle withdrew today from the 2005 Campbell's Classic in St. Paul, Minn, Oct. 8; and from 2005 Skate America Oct. 20-23, in Atlantic City, NJ, due to a strained ligament in her right hip. She hopes the injury will be healed in time to compete at the 2005 Cup of China in Beijing, China, Nov. 2-6. September 25, 2005~
Michelle has been confirmed to compete at the 2005 Campbell's Classic in St. Paul, Minnesota, Oct. 8. The event is one of the first major international competitions of the 2005-2006 Olympic season. Here's an article about the confirmation: Final Lineup Confirmed for Campbell's Classic.
