Michelle placed off the podium, in fourth place, at the World Championships yesterday. This was Michelle's first competition under the new judging system, Code of Points. So, to put her result in perspective, Michelle did rather well for her first time under CoP! Here's an article about the results: Slutskaya Defies the Odds; Cohen Wins Silver at 2005 Worlds. I've added this result to the Competitive Record page and I've added photos from Worlds to the Photos page, I hope you enjoy them!

Michelle placed third in the short program at the World Championships today. She is in fifth place overall (she placed fifth in her qualifying group and seventh overall in the qualifying round), and still has a good chance at winning her 6th World title tomorrow after the long program. Here's an article about the short program: Cohen and Kwan in the Medal Hunt at World Championships.

The following are links to USFSA articles about two young ice skaters that appear in the movie, I'm posting them because Michelle is mentioned in each article: US Skaters Dream Big in Ice Princess, Ice Princesses Learn New Roles on Set and On Ice, Cannarozzo and Olson Find Their Ice Princess Dreams.
