It was fantastic seeing the 6 SF260's from Spruce Creek lined up on the ramp.
James Weldon in 272C has a gorgeous SF260 painted in Alabama National Guard colors.
Ronald Kelin's SF260 is painted in camaflage colors just as it was at the Paris Air Show
in 1983. Jerry Mercer has Jason Nash's plane and it is fire engine red. We saw him putting the
race number 9 on the side of his plane. It has a new stock engine. After buying the plane
he had to remove the wings for a spar inspection. I am not clear on what the problem was. If I can
keep my golf cart under control I will be in the race next year.
