Request & Contribute

Have an album cover that you want turned into your very own Winamp skin?  We can do it!  We do take requests, but under the following guidelines.

1. Make sure you have a nice size image of what you want turned into a winamp skin.   350x350 is a good size and big enough that we can make something out of it easily.   Make sure its a good scan of the image, very clear with lots of detail showing.  

2. Email me and tell me what you want, and why, etc.  DO NOT SEND THE IMAGE WITH THIS FIRST EMAIL.  I will reply and then...

3. Send the image and wait. 

4. It may take 2-3 days or up to a week or longer for one of us to make the skin and post it on the site.  We will get it done as fast as we can but be patient.

ALSO

1. We only accept requests for HEAVY METAL winamp skins.  That means power/progressive/and even glam.  We will NOT make skins out of your dog, your boss or Britny Spears. However since most of these metal album covers are fantasy themed we will occasionally take requests for skins to be made out of fairies, dragons, unicorns, castles, etc. 

2. We have to LIKE the image to do it.  If I dont like it then forget it.  We are doing this for free, if you really want something then you can pay us.  haha !

3. DO NOT SEND IMAGES WITHOUT APPROVAL FIRST.  We are on 56k modems and do not appreciate checking our mail and havimg to wait hours for images and other large files that we want to come download. This is just simple consideration.

Other than that, we hope you enjoy the existing skin collection enough to want to request more.

Contributing:

Almost the same guidelines for Requesting go for Contributing as well.
1. Email us at rainbowchaser@centurytel.net and let us know what skin you have that you want us to post.

2. AFTER recieving a confirmation email, then proceed to send the skin, preferably zipped up.

3. The zip file will then be posted on the next update.  The site is updated on average of once every two weeks, sometimes quicker than that, so please be patient.
