Palomino came to Peke Avenue as a "front porch cat"...he probably had a home but he gradually stopped leaving us and we fed him daily. He never went far and never for very long. We do not know if he was dropped off or if his other people moved away or if he just preferred our place. In 2004, he is going on ten years old...our senior kitty. He was a gentle fellow and colored like a Palomino horse so he got the nickname "Palomino" and gradually "Pal". He stayed outside a long time but one day we noticed he had been in a cat fight and was injured. We brought him inside, doctored the wound and he stayed on as an inside kitty for a while. In April 2004, Palomino went back to live on the outside. He hated the indoors and we do not know what happened to him once he was outside. He would not let us trap him and he just disappeared. We never found any sign that he had been killed so we hope he took up at another home and perhaps they took him inside. |

Carolina Wright---Tortie All the above are wild kitties, now tame, who have come to live with us. They are of various ages. Punkin was a big and beautiful orange tabby and another orange tabby named Hobo joined us and looked like a smaller version of Punkin. Hobo was two years old in May 05. A Russian Blue kitty, one of a litter of 4, has adopted us too. She is shown below. On Oct 20, she was named Natasha by the meowmie of another Russian Blue. Carolina K. Wright is around five years old and is the mum of Lady Midnight Wright and Calli Victoria. She was the first of our ferals. Our meowmie is shown also...where did she get that DOG???? Good Grief! |
