I don't know the exact dates, but it spans from 1990-1996.
--Waymon Boone (vocals, guitar) and Jeff Koplan (guitar) grow up in Canada together
--Waymon, Jeff, James Cruz (bass), and Nir Z (drums) form Hidden Persuaders in NYC
--Jeff leaves HP; is replaced with Jimmy Landry (guitar)
--Jeff produces Timothy Cruz's (James' bother) album on Columbia Records
--Nir leaves HP and joins Genesis; is replaced with Chad (drums)
--Jimmy leaves HP and Franklin (guitar) plays for the last couple of shows
--Chad leaves HP and joins Swimmer, who signed to Maverick but were dropped
--Waymon and James put an ad in the Village Voice for musicians, and Marc Slutsky (drums) and Jonathan Svec
(guitar) join the new HP
--name changes to Splender (the rest is musical history)
