Cats may fly and dragons croon
silhouetted against the moon
are they one but not the same?
joining in some secret game?
leading me a merry chase
across the world and into space?
shall I catch them one fine day
when at last they stop to play?
Or do they now reside with me
the kitten playing at my knee?
a tiny dragon fierce and bold
challenging a knight of old.
