Preparations for all activities of the 2nd LCHS Grand Alumni Homecoming are now in full swing. This latest news was gathered from various committee reports made during the meeting of LCHS-AA officers and directors last June 1 at the Debbie's Delight owned and managed by James So (Batch '66).
The meeting also discussed the program of activities for the GAH which will include the participation of the LCHS students during the opening salvo on the first day of the GAH on July 7. Also underway are the preparation of the souvenir program and ad solicitations from various alumni suppliers & friends. GAH flyers, notices and registration forms are now ready for dispatch. The nomination form for the search for the outstanding alumni achievers has been circulated among alumni starting last June 6. The officers & directors also made a courtesy call with the City Mayor last June 6.
For alumni coming from out of town, the Committee on Transportation also announced its preparations for their arrivals in several ports of call, including booking assistance or reservations with hotels of their choices, as well as transportation services for out of town alumni to venues of the 3-day GAH activities. Homecoming alumni arriving home via Cagayan de Oro either by boat or by airplane are advised to inform the GAH Secretariat of their arrival date ahead of time. Service vehicles will be arranged to fetch alumni upon their arrival for the GAH. Meanwhile, the deadline for the 20% discount on GAH registration fee has been extended to June 15. So hurry up and avail yourselves of the discount by paying your registration fee now.

STAR
IN A MILLION
New
singing sensation from Iligan
There is a new Iliganon singing sensation who is catching the nation's music & entertainment industry by storm. She is Nikki Bacolod (in photo) who was discovered when she joined the "Search for a Star in a Million," an ABS-CBN version of "American Idol." Nikki was a big favorite among televiewers from the start and a strong bet to win the grand prize. Nikki came in second in the grand finals but this has not diminished her chances for big-time stardom. She is now under contract with Viva Entertainment where she is getting ready to record her debut album. She will also be appearing regularly at ABS-CBN shows.
Congrats
to Robert & Cristine
