If you are a parent of a special needs child, you are a special parent! SPARKLE is here to provide a supportive resource to meet the challenges that are unique to you! Whether you are seeking friendships with other special parents resource referral, fun activities for the whole family, presentations on special needs topics or special education information, SPARKLE is interested in meeting your needs.
SPARKLE is all-inclusive of all special needs children. Regardless of the disability, special parents need support and advocacy. Our special parent population includes children with: autism spectrum disorders, ADHD/ADD, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, down syndrome, multiple disabilities, learning disabilities, mental retardation, spina bifida, traumatic brain injuries, hearing impairment/deafness, visual impairment/blindness and other developmental disabilities.
SPARKLE believes that our different challenges are not barriers to understanding but rather a strength of support and advocacy!
There are no membership fees and events are free unless otherwise specified. SPARKLE believes that support and information should always be free. If members wish to make a donation, they are free to do so but assistance will be available regardless.
