I am so sick it's awful; I slept in through my first (and only) class today, which hopefully will aid me in getting rid of this cold. But I'm going to have to go to all my classes tommorow... ugh.... and that DEKE party...

I need to write a 15 page essay tonight.. I haven't started... My notes are all sitting beside me, but I knew I had to update 'cause everyone else in the world has updated in the last 24 hours.. oh you know it's final-essay-handing-in season when...

I had to drag my sickly butt downtown this afternoon to pick up my Brand New Corset Top for formal. It's so awesome!! It fits perfectly. I look extra-hot in it. I should get everything custom made from now on...

So much stress about formal right now, but I won't bitch here.

Last night was founders day and initiation, tons of fun, but I was so sick I thought I was going to pas out for the first part...

This is dull so the end.

Yah so last night was Val's bday party: Happy Birthday Val!

This morning I had to wake up horrifyingly early (8:30am) to go to this UBC Law School "Intro to Law School" thing. It made me equally want to and not want to go to law school there. The bad were the people I was there with. I blame it on them all being the early acceptence keener kids rather then the fun, interesting more-slacker but still-smart kids. Because the people I met who were already going to law school there were all really cool. But new students.... they were like:

"What's the workload like?"
"How much work were there be?"
"What's the grading system like?"
"How competitive are our grades with other law schools?"
etc during the question and answer session whereas I was like:
"What fun classes are there?"
"What kind of clubs are there?"

At one point they put us in to small groups to look through a newspaper and pull out articles related to the law (ie, random busy work to get us to talk to each other, mostly) and the people in my group actully pulled out pens and paper and started making notes on the articles, not talking at all till the very end, when they were like "what do you think they are looking for us to find from this exercise?"

NERDS!

And then when the one girl who seemed almost cool was asking a question which ended with "..because I'm sure most of us are still entertaining the option of going to other schools" everyone else in the room looked at her like she'd shot someone and was like "OMG, NO!! I *only* applied to UBC!"

Then at lunch this one especially stupid girl kept obsessing over when they were going to say who had won entrance scholarships, which I think was her sneaky way of trying to find out what grades we had, and then, shocked that I was considering Queens and talking about how great Vancouver was (it doesn't snow (- hello, rain much?) and it's "pretty") included the fact it had an "awesome transit system!" ...

Yah, has she ever used the Vancouver transist system? Yah.

But it was cool 'cause when I asked about cool classes the current students mentioned about classes on 'feminism and the law', 'sexuality and the law', etc.

Also.. at UBC, your first set of exams aren't worth anything! They are like, for practice, to see how law school exams are marked and etc. Unless you do really well on them (better than on your real final exams) in which case they are worth 25%.
How sweet is that?

And now I am done blathering.

(why does no one comment here anymore?)

What San-X Character Are You?

I don't think it would be humanly possible to get a better character. Although sternonator's was pretty good, I must say.

And this is all the update there will be right now because I am *supposed* to be frigging studying for my fin-de-siecle midterm, damnit
