Um, yah, other than my overnight descent into superficiality, life is same old same old.
I spent the past week at Whistler which was awesome, but there were an unfortunate lack of tour groups in matching snow suits. Last year Tanya and I saw hundreds of people in bright yellow snowsuits with a huge picture of a teddy bear sewn right onto the front. They were fully grown adults, by the way, not children. It was great. But this year, no such luck. We did see some loser snow-bunnies though, with tons of makeup, brand-new super-trendy snowsuits and huge hoop earrings.. falling on their ass as they get off the chairlift.

And then today, the first day of school, was good too. I slept through my first class and missed the first bit of my second class (nothing relevant went n, so it was all good). In my gender history class I got an AWESOME mark on my last essay, which made me happy, and in my women's studies class we deconstructed the motivations of working out, and the different ideologies of health in other cultures. So interesting.
Yeah, so I'm a nerd, I love it!

And now, for bubble tea!!

At long last (and not completely unexpectedly!) Aritzia will now cater to those poor unfortunate souls that trendy boutiques in Vancouver have long been ignoring. Sure, they carried clothing for the invisible (size 0) but did they cary clothing for those ideal girls who not only don't take up other people's space, but provide space for others? NO! It has been a long fight, but Aritzia has finally decided to clothe those that exist in negative space - ie, size negative two and negative four.

While many are rejoicing Aritzia's decision to expand their size selection, I am sure that there are some who fear that this step towards 'extreme sizing' may move forward in another direction. Fear not, for I am certain that Aritzia will continue to reject the patronage of 'fatties', and continue to not stock clothing above a size 8.

I mean really, what self respecting woman would dare wear a size 10? Honestly now.

I got 575.7 in that penguin game thing tho, which I am somewhat proud of (yes, this is indeed my life).

I was supposed to go bowling tonight, but ended up watching Big Fish with Eugenia, which was an incredible film, I think. Just enough story to leave you imagining the rest.
I love magic, I wish supernatural things happened all the time. I wonder why that is? Why is humanity so in love with ghosts and witches and..... and just because I am tired is no reason to go off on some bizarre tangent.

My magic for today was that someone had snuck into my house while I was out and left me a purple rose, a stuffed unicorn, and some "I Luv U" chocolates. I wonder who could have left me such awesome gifts? You are the coolest, girl across the street. Slinkster coolest even. ;)
I love the sappy commercialism of Valentines Day.

I am so annoyed that it is Valentine's Day again. Valentine's day sucks, because of all the crazy awesome stuff that one can purchase at Shoppers Drug Mart right now. Like the dancing monkey that screams "Eeee! Eee! Eee! Kiss me! Eee! Eee! Eeeeeeee!"
Like, who wouldn't want that? Also, Carlos is annoying with his countdown thing on his msn, Being all like "4 days left!!" and now it is "1 day left" and he won't tell me why, so I hope it is "1 day left until the big, ugly, hairy, pustule on my face is removed"

Pustule is a good word. I like the dictionary definition of it: "A vesicle or an elevation of the skin with an inflamed base, containing pus."
Mostly I just like the end part when it says "containing pus"
