Formerly a singing chef at a popular italian restaurant in Dallas, Lisa Forstmann's career changed forever when she decided to turn toward operatic performance. In 1996, this talented young soprano auditioned for Southern Methodist University's opera theater, and instantly received a vocal scholarship and was offered the leading soprano role in their production of The Merry Widow in the same year. Since then, she has continued to expand her natural talent for opera singing into a serious profession with a very bright future. continued...
