CEDAR BRANCH TRAIL

I am heading toward these mountains. Up in the middle of them
is where my son works and this is my view every morning.

This spot is around the curve from where Nate works. To the right
is the trail. To the left across Cedar Cr. Rd. is Cedar Creek and a very nice falls.
and Gypsy in the pool above.

We begin walking up the old road trail. Here you see my son Matt with his wife Carla
and baby Jade in the backpack ducking under the trees. We are walking up the main branch
which has an inviting long flat sliding rock. We are looking forward to trying it out this summer.
Check out this view of the trail going along beside the creek.

As we go on up the sides get steeper and there are more trees and rhodendron
covering the creek.
We all forge ahead on the narrow path along the creek managing to
keep branches from poking Jade until we come to another sliding rock at small pool
and basically the end of the line as you can see how overgrown it is here. Jade sat
in her backpack for awhile throwing stones we handed her into the creek.
Here we are.....Carla, Sharyn, Jade and Matt. Guess what Jade wants to do when we
take her out to walk..... Get in the Water!
