While several books have been written about Hyman George Rickover, "The Father of Nuclear Power" there are many stories about him that deserve to be immortalized while the aging story tellers are still available. Rickover made both negative and positive impressions upon legions of naval officers and civilians working on the nuclear programs both in government and private industry. This web site urges anyone with one of these stories to contribute it to the site. These, after confirmation, will be included in a book which is a "work in progress". Archie Kelley, member of Rickover's staff during pioneering development of nuclear power. |
