New Hockey Skates - CCM 742 Tacks
Earlier this year, I bought a pair of Bauer Custom Supreme 4000 hockey skates. They hurt like hell, and no, I couldn't wear them sockless. So, after 3 months of torture, I finally took them back to where I bought them. In exchange, I got these CCM's, and couldn't be happier. I have never worn them with socks, and they fit like a glove. Lots of hockey players, pro and amateur, wear their skates without socks to get the most secure fit.
They get really wet inside after a few periods of hard play. After a few months of playing twice a week, they're getting a bit raunchy inside, as you can see in the pic below. But hey, that's how we like 'em!
