KISS and Aerosmith
to Tour Together
KISS and Aerosmith will
embark on a co-headlining North American tour beginning in August and
running through October, sources confirm. The tour of approximately 40
dates will be produced by Clear Channel Entertainment and is expected to
play 90% amphitheaters, with arenas and possibly a couple of stadiums also
in the mix. Kiss will perform in full makeup, sources say, and Aerosmith
will be touring in support of a new Columbia blues album.
Webmaster's thoughts: Sounds to good to be true. 7 months is a long
time from now, and a LOT can happen between now and then.
Ace Is Back?

On http://www.melodicrock.com/
last week, they reported a rumor that
Ace Frehley
may be saddling up for Australia and Japan.
Keep your fingers crossed.
KISS Touring Japan
After the big "Kiss Symphony"
in Australia, KISS will be touring in Japan once again, in March.
Keep your fingers crossed.

KISS will perform with the
Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in Australia next year, February
28th, 2003.
Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and Peter Criss made the
announcement from
Melbourne that they will be joined by the
Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at the Telstra Dome. It looks as if Ace
will be joining the rest of the band for the special occasion, although he
wasn't present at the announcement.
Tickets go on sale
Friday November
1.
And for fans who can't swing the trip to Australia to see the show, it
will be on pay-per-view.
*Update The
event will be broadcast around the world via pay-per-view and released as
a double-disc album and DVD at a later date. A documentary will also be
made, based around the week-long rehearsals.
"Kiss Symphony"
will be a three-part event, starting with a rock set by the band, an
unplugged set, and then a collaboration with the orchestra.
The New KISS Album

Yep, it's another compilation CD. This time it's
a 21 song collection which spans the bands career, with all the greatest
hits. August 27th, 2002 is the set release date.
KISS To Continue
To Tour
Paul Stanley announced that KISS
wasn't ready to retire from the road, just yet, as the now So-Called Farewell Tour
proclaimed. They plan to tour in support of the soon to be released
"The Very Best Of KISS" CD.
No word yet on if Ace plans to play, or if Tommy Thayer will be taking
his place. It's all but a "gimme" that Eric Singer will be
drumming on the upcoming tour.
*10/15/02-With the announcement of Peter Criss to rejoin KISS in Australia
next year, it could be if any tour dates are set, the Catman may be back
in
the drummer's seat!
