| The year is 2003 and it has been 12 years since the last gulf war, codename, Desert Storm. The new war, which is called, Iraqi Freedom, is totally opposite from the first war. The last war lasted about 100 hours, this was will last 100 weeks. Some say, this is the start of World War Three. We don't have all the world backing us up now. There are unprecedented anti-war demonstrations around the world at the same time. The whole world is watching this day by day and they are frustrated and sick of it and fascinated. There are briefings, live coverage of the barrages against Iraqi military targets, infrastructure and it's opposition. Saddam claims he will win and Americans will die in about a week. I don't know what he has up his sleeve but let me tell you, it won't be Easter Eggs. I am glad that the President of the United States had said that he will leave it up to the Generals to fight this war. What the American public doesn't understand is that in order for peace, there has to be war. This is yin and yang; there is in gray area. The public doesn't even have to know what is going on minute by minute because this isn't a game but war and with war there is death, destruction and unpleasantness. I am glad that the President had decided that the Iraqi regime must be dismantled and put in place what America seems to be right. America took Afghanistan's government and is replacing it. It is time for a new regime for Iraq. America must stand up to the plate if this is a game or watch if this is life. Free the Iraqi's oppression, get rid of Saddam Heusain!!!! |
