Children's Manuscript Guidelines

1. Send query email, synopsis, and firt 10 pages of completed manuscript in the body of the email to SMOD PUBLISHING
2. Send author's vita or other materials to explain qualifications as author for your content.
3. Accepted Children's Manuscripts should be typed or word-processed, double-spaced and annotated to delineate art if required and submitted in Microsoft Word on floppy disk.
4. Picture-book text should be about 2,000 words to accommodate a 32-page format.

Art

5. We prefer vivid illustrations done in jpg or gif format.
6. Do not send original art. Submit art samples on our S.M.O.D. Submission web-link; in jpg or gif format.
7. Please submit only Child proofed art work.
