rising up in the streets
to tell the world this war
is not our war this president
is not our president he does not
speak for us
we will bare our breasts
in the name of our children
there is power in love
there is peace in compassion
there is truth waiting to be heard
outside the oval office & air force one
we will not be rendered silent
by those who enter our homes
uninvited
to strip us of our freedoms
we will not be forced to comply
with a system of injustice
that feeds off of greed
& fuels the flames of war
we will not line the silver pockets
of corporations that value
the bottom line more than saving a life
we will not compromise our bodies
for a president who insists
that every woman stands behind him
it just isn't so
we will sing, cry, drum,
dance, march, chant, yell
raise our voices to be heard
the streets will thunder
our hearts & souls
will roar like a bonfire
we will remain silent no longer
