Trowa's Past.....

The Trowa Barton we know and love in the year A.C. 195 was born Triton Bloom in the year A.C. 180. When he was still very young, war broke out and his parents' carriage was attacked by Federation forces. He and his sister, Catherine Bloom, where both pushed out of the carriage just in time to save their lives, but it was too late for their parents.

Apparently the two where seperated in the explosion, as Catherine was found and adopted by a traveling circus, while Triton was picked up by a band of mercenaries at age four. Too young to remember his own name, Triton went by Nanashi (which literally means "no name"). By age ten, Nanashi was fighting alongside the other mercenaries.

Still age ten, Nanashi met a girl named Midii Une while taking a walk out in the woods one day. The two became friends, and Midii gave him her cross as a symbol of thanks. She loved Nanashi, but at the same time hated him for being so empty and emotionless. Shortly after, the mercenary camp was attacked and destroyed, though Nanashi and Midii both managed to escape. Upon confronting Midii, he discovered that the cross she had given him was actually a transmitter that gave away his location.  Though he did not kill her, he destroyed both his and her transmitters and departed.

Nanashi then joined another mercenary unit, but it too was destroyed in time. At age fourteen, Nanashi travelled to outere space and arrived at the L3 Colony. Here he worked as a mechanic for the Barton family. Here he met a young man named Trowa Barton, whom constantly tormented him.  His father, Ekim Barton, was in charge of Operation Meteor, which envolved dropping a colony right onto earth, then sending the Gundams, which were being built by the Barton Foundation, to take over. When Professor S protested against the plan, Trowa Barton threatened to turn him in, but was shot by Professor S's assistant. Nanashi then stepped forward, saying he would take Trowa Barton's name and pilot the Gundam Heavyarms in place of the real Trowa Barton. Thus, he became the Trowa Barton we know from the series.
