The following rules and regulations are to be adhered to unless you want to, at the very least, receive a lump of coal in your stocking this year. At the very worst (my goodness, no!), be unsubscribed from this list.
I. Posting
1. For the time being, there will be no limit on how many posts may be submitted daily. However, I do ask that you utilize your better judgement and not bomb all those poor folks out there that are on one hundred other lists in addition to this one.
2. Messages must be no longer than 80 lines. It may seem like too little, perhaps even too much to some folks. This post is approximately 100 lines long.
3. If episodes from the current season are being discussed and it may spoil the episode for members who haven't seen it, it is important for you to put the word "spoiler" in the subject line. Please do not put "spoiler space" (blank space at the beginning of a message) in the body. It is not only redundant, but a waste of bandwidth as well.
II. Content/Topics
1. This list is unmoderated, but it is imparitive that we watch our language. We have no idea what age ranges are involved here, or what kinds of words people do and don't appreciate to read. It doesn't have to be Disney, but at least be considerate to those that care.
2. Keep your signature line short. Four or five lines is certainly acceptable. A full page of text is just too much!
3. You may not advertise your personal home page unless it is Mitch Pileggi/Skinner related. An X-Files fan page is not really considered "Skinner" material unless it is directly dedicated to him. Posting the title of your page and the URL (MP/Skinner-related or otherwise) in your sig IS acceptable.
4. You may post URLs for other MP/Skinner sites unless otherwise prohibited by the page's webservant for whatever reason.
5. Discussion must involve MP in some way or another. If it starts to fork into an unrelated discussion, please take it off the list.
6. Flames are strictly prohibited! If any such thing is witnessed, the offender will be suspended for a two-week period.
NOTE: If someone flames you personally (directly to your personal e-mail, and not through the list), please report it and immediate action will be taken.

NOTE: Warnings and subscription suspensions/terminations may be appealed. Your "case" will receive due attention, given you have good reason to make the appeal. If you are at the receiving end of such a message, please also save a copy of it for future reference.
