| When you take a good look around in this crazy world, you see lies and deception everywhere. You see people telling each other lies, stabbing each other in the back and still pretending to be friends. Tell me what's the value of friendship if you have to live like this? Tell me what is your life if you betray your friends just to benefit from the situation. Isn't friendship about trust and loyalty anymore? Has someone just decided that friendship is only being there for each other until you don't need the other anymore to get to the top? It seems like everyone is doing it these days, Why doesn't anybody value friendship like they used to, through thick and thin, forever and always, till death and beyond? Tell me why do I still live according to these old rules, am I getting old? Am I not hard enough to survive in this cruel world that has no pity on those who fail, or those who don't want to step on another human to reach the top? This world only cares about what you have achieved. This world that only wants to know you when you're on your way up, and never cares for the ones falling down. Tell me, am I too soft for this world? Am I not living my life right, living by the old rules of loyalty and trust? Why do I always see the best people getting hurt the most? We get screwed the most, trying desperately to understand why we get hurt so much and each time we ask why. Its a question I can never answer. Will I even get an answer to this question during life, or beyond? |
