Welcome to SimPilot2000's web site. This site is currently under construction. Here You will find some links to flight simulator home built cockpits. I will also include some picture of the 'pit' that I am currently working on. Some people would ask "why would you bother going to all the trouble for a 'game'?". Well most simulators these days aren't just 'games' any more. They are too complicated to be considered that now. Building a cockpit (pit) just adds to the simulation. Whether your flying a simple Cessna or one of the 'heavy'commercial airliners a 'pit' just adds to the experience. These 'pits' can be as simple as a quick break-down pilot seat and console to a full-blown cockpit experience with big projection monitors for outside views. My hope is to show a broad range of these projects. My own 'pit' is on the modest side, it is able to be broken down into sections for easy transport (when my wife finally kicks me out for this flight of fantasy)... hehehe
