Reality
Plunging into a deep abyss jokingly called a mind,
One finds a reality unlike any other intriguing kind.

Images and sounds pass by in a blink of an eye,
If you are not careful you will be caught in a lie.

Here there is order among all the chaos,
And there are little gremlins hidden under moss.

The little fairies play evil tricks,
And awful ogres give you bad pricks.

Nothing is the way it should be,
All is the way it shouldn’t be.

Have you figured out where you are?
For the answer, do not look far.

Over there you’ll see a tiny portal,
A closer look reveals strange white clad mortals.

A padded room locked good and tight,
Gives us all a horrible fright.

Welcome to the mind of a crazy,
Yes, things here appear very hazy,
But don’t be fooled by appearances.

          A Schizophrenic’s Delusion
          The terror within,
          Speaks of my sin.
          The walls have ears
And they know of my fears.
          The voices inside
          Are telling me to hide.

          They say I am sick,
          And am imagining the pit,
But I know they are lying,
For I have watched them spying.

They treat me like a child,
And say that I am wild.
Locking me alone in a room
          Claiming I am a loon.

I know what they are up to
And what they want me to do,
          But I am resisting
          While they’re still persisting.

Still, I hope one day I’ll win,
And then it will be their sin
          That is exploited,
          And I will be appointed
          Empress of the World!
