This University of Illinois ballpark was used for professional summer baseball for one season in 1994. The Champaign-Urbana Bandits were members of the independent Great Central League along with teams in Lafayette, IN; Minneapolis, MN; and Mason City, IA. The league lasted just one season with Lafayette winning the championship (no playoffs). |
