I wish I'd kept my big mouth shut

When you walked through the door

But no!

I had to go and spoil it all

Just like I'd done before

  One more chance you gave me

Just one more chance, No more!

Then I got drunk

And punched your face

And knocked you to the floor

  I promise...  I'll never do it again

I wish you'd give me one more chance

Please! 

Just one more chance... No more

And I'll make you one more promise

Not to drink… 

just like I've done before
